My self-summary
Hay there, my name is Stephen and I am the wondrous result of parental coitus. (Or perhaps it is wondrous parental coitus that I am the result of, though, I do hope to never have that answer.) Such is my beginning as is the beginning of everyone and everything, a beginning with one big bang.

If I had to summarize myself into as few words as possible I would say that I am a. In more words, but still at a basic level, I am a student of continual improvement and critical thinking. I try to let my empathy, guided by reason and hard work, forge the course I will take in life. I believe that through the power of the internet, patience and the word fuck, anything is possible.

What I’m doing with my life
Self-Control. Attempting to build it, enjoying building it and soaking in that sweet sweet fulfillment.

I'm using my awesome econ degree businessesing in business in a somewhat fulfilling capacity at the moment. As I arrive at a more distant but unknown location on the road of life I plan on creating a few businesses/patents/TM/CR of my own. That is the plan, once I can build up some capital, credit and creditable ideas. If I could respond as "I'm an inventor of things" to the "what do you do?" question, then that would probably be my absolute ideal. I feel that it's the perfect fusion of creativity and utility. If I could help improve the world and make some money while doing it, then that would be one of life's ultimate sweetnesses.

Beyond that, feeling happy and healthy are my two most near and attainable goals.

...and walking. I love walking.
I’m really good at
- I used to PC game, my skills may have waned, but I can still put my friends to shame.

- I'm into analyzing and improving efficiency and the dad from "Cheaper by the Dozen" is something of a role model to me.
(If you read this as "I'm into anal", then you should discontinue informing yourself and file for communication immediately)

- I enjoy making analogies as well.
(I hope you aren't anal about analogies or innuendos. While these past few haven't been, I sometimes blur the dividing lines)

- I had played the trumpet since 5th grade and for a little while in college and I like to think that I was pretty good, not to toot my own horn. A skilled gay trumpeter friend of mine named Colonel Hingus once called me a "prodigy" when referring to my apparently fast tonguing skills, which among other uses, is very handy in getting to the center of a tootsie pop quickly.

- I, on occasion, make seemingly humorous seemingly correct incorrect puns, though in the meantime, you'll have to bear with me.
(I am widely considered by myself to be a cunning linguist)

- Being way too curious, though I can usually contain myself.

- Making Scotcharoos and other goodies.

- Treating serrated edges with the utmost care and gentle touches.
The first things people usually notice about me
are my redundantly long eye lashes that girls tell me they wish they had (though in truth, it's usually just old ladies, but here's your chance to objectify me ladies, I don't mind) accompanied by some pretty sweet speckled blue eyes that turn green in certain lighting. Should we meet, I'll try not to lash out at you.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Much apologies to the mobile app users, from what I have read you cannot see my links, I'm sorry if I appear to be or not to be a crazy person.

I have a much more comprehensive list to prove that I enjoy a much wider spectrum of entertainment. I'd be happy to share if you are interested but I tried to narrow down my favorites to lucky number sevens.

Books: God is Not Great, Freakonomics, The Intelligence Paradox, Why Beautiful People Have More Daughters, The Power of Habit, The Evolution of Desire, Guns of the South

-- Browsing Reddit/Wikipedia/KhanAcademy/Codecademy, they are awesome resources with nearly unlimited information and opinion.

Movies: Django Unchained, The Fog of War, Perks of Being a Wall Flower, Fight Club, Silenced(in Korean but amazing), Good Will Hunting, Donnie Darko

Shows: Sherlock(Go watch it, it is awesome and you are most welcome), Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist, South Park, House of Cards, Breaking Bad, The IT Crowd ( You have a boyfriend, Fuck You.)

(and GoT, I mean, come on! Dragons! GD'it!)

-- In my humble submission, the best comedians provide important and controversial social commentary through the most appreciable medium of all, humor.

The Sanctity Of Life
Jim Jefferies: On Religion
Louis C.K.: Being White
Bill Hicks: It's Just a Ride
David Cross: Time Mug
Doug Stanhope: No Refunds
Bo Burnham: .what

Music: I listen to what sounds good, which mainly depends on my mood. Don't worry though, I find that on long trips I much more enjoy talking with travel buddies as opposed to listening to music that makes someone want to "take this fucking car off the nearest cliff!"

Ludovico Einaudi - Divenire
Digitalism - Miami Showdown
The Clash - Train in Vain
Rob Bailey and The Hustle Standard - Hungry (amazing workout song)
The Lonely Island - I Just Had Sex
Death From Above 1979 - You're a woman, I'm a machine

Michael Jackson - Billie Jean

*** Hit me with your suggestions and I will reciprocate.

Food: My favorite food to eat is probably prepared and eaten before you decide what or where you want to eat.

Good, nay, great to know:
How to Change a Habit
Why do we kiss?
Why do we wear clothes?
Why are things cute?
The Meaning of Life
Why do we laugh?
The six things I could never do without
- Autonomy
- The discussion and debate of ideas
- Empathy
- Recognizing my own errors and improving
- Motivating & emotive music
- Kind & honest people
I spend a lot of time thinking about
- The meaning of life (survival and reproduction) and more importantly the meaning to my own. (the one I get to decide, yay! :D)

- Biology and how much control we can and do exert over our genes.

- How I can improve myself and the things I care about.

- "Running and Reading."

- When we will be able to invent machines that can invent solutions more complex and more quickly than our organic brains are physically capable of, in aggregate.

- Our uncertain but potentially bright future. (Though hopefully not nuclear war bright.)

- On religion...
Why We Believe in Gods - Andy Thomson
Some great insights into why humans believe in god/s, but I don't spend much thought time on religion anymore.

- Ants fascinate me and if I see a lot of them on the sidewalk I have to stop and see what they are up to, usually eating or fighting, just like humans.

- How great the internet and FnF(Face no Face) communication is. Online dating is ridiculously OP social networking.

- The necessary but terribly unfortunate plight of shoes. They hold us up, but all we ever do is put them down and walk all over them.
On a typical Friday night I am
Working on my monitor tan whilst contemplating why what should have been done didn't get done already.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
If I like you I'll probably be nervous as fuck around you at first, but, you should know, it's cause I think you're awesome.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 18–28
  • Located anywhere
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
- You and I are similar/compatible emotionally and intellectually and you think that you'd have a hard time keeping your hands off me once we have confirmed characteristic number one and characteristic number two.

- I haven't raised more red flags than Tiananmen Square.

- I have a lot of chocolate at my place, is that a thing??? I...I...I don't know.
