Laid-back bicycle-riding eccentric born and raised and somehow escaped from the Jersey Shore section of the Bronx. I'm from the 2-1-2 before the 2-1-2 decided it didn't want to be associated with outer borough trash.

I like going on adventures. Kayak wine tours, camping on islands in the middle of a lake, searching for monk parakeets in the tri-state area. Things like that.

I work at an economic forecasting company. So basically I'm to blame for the Great Recession. You're welcome!

I'm lucky to have a job that lets me travel a lot, and tolerates me planning client visits around weekends. Seriously boss, I'm saving you money by spending the weekend driving down the Pacific Coast highway instead of flying between San Francisco and LA.

I also love exploring the city. When I'm bored I'll just pick a random direction and start riding until I find something interesting. This city has some awesome nooks and crannies.

Finding ridiculously cheap airfare. It's my super power.

I've decided recently I hate all of these lists but don't really feel like updating them. I'm actually very easy to please, so use this as an approximation of my tastes?

Movies: Royal Tenenbaums, Moonrise Kingdom, Run Lola Run, The Kill Bills, Mambo Italiano, Dark City

Books: Game of Thrones is my current obsession. Otherwise anything by Kurt Vonnegut, lots of dorky pop econ books, and other books that catch my fancy.

Music: Muse, Arcade Fire, Bloc Party, MGMT, Scissor Sisters, Smashing Pumpkins, Anything else from the 90s, Jethro Tull, Rolling Stones

TV Shows: Cougar Town, Modern Family, 30-Rock, The Office, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, How I Met Your Mother, And MSNBC and the Discovery Channel when I'm feeling particularly dorky.

Food: Just about the only thing I don't like is Cilantro for some reason.

I'm adaptable.
