My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I really didn't expect myself to be writing another one of these, but here I go.

I'm a mid-twenties fellow who is very unlike most mid-twenties fellows out there. I don't enjoy sports, and I've never been the type to party. In many ways, I'm exceptionally mature; in others, a little behind the curve. I like to keep my mind young, and I'm really good at pretending to be dumb.

I'm pretty nerdy, a little spiritual, and full of weird facts about nothing useful. I use them as ice-breakers, and to fill awkward silences. Did you know that touching money actually reduces pain? Have a headache? Fondle a fifty dollar bill.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right now, I'm technically working for the government. In a place that sells vice. This is not exactly where I saw my life going, but I've gotten used to the unexpected. Really, I enjoy selling liquor and meeting people, even if a large amount of them are cranky and rushed. I'll wish you a good day even if you rush away from me at the speed of stress.

In the future? I want to heal people. Massage therapy, herbalism, and alternative healing have been life-long interests. If they are yours too, I'd love to hear from you, just to learn.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening, and watching. I've spent my life going through various misadventures, and have gotten pretty good at hearing out even the most stress-filled rants given by people many may be too frightened to talk to. Sometimes I have good advice, too, but I'm still making too many mistakes in my own life to consider myself a fountain of wisdom.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes. I've got there weird blue eyes, sometimes green, that even people enraged at me can't help but notice. I know this because they comment sometimes when I refuse to sell them liquor due to lack of ID. Are they enchanting? Amazing? That's up to you. I just think they see stuff. Maybe more than Joe Average, maybe less.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
The second and fourth items on this list may be a little small. I'm not good at that sort of stuff, but I suppose I should make the effort anyways, so here it goes.

Books? Peirs Anthony is my all-time favorite author, by a long-shot. I've even dug through and found his older science fiction works, and devoured them like I do with all novels. I read, A LOT. Neil Gaiman is another favorite, as well as Terry Pratchet (because I love to laugh while I read). Patrick Rothfuss has recently enchanted me, but he doesn't write nearly as fast as I read, which is a pity but pretty much expected.

As for movies...Well, the rock I've been under hasn't helped there. My all-time favorite was Princess Bride. What does that say about me? Probably things I shouldn't admit. Oh well.

Television shows run the gambit. I remember old cartoons, barely, that I used to enjoy but no longer understand now. Cyber 6? Anyone heard of that? No? It was bloody amazing. Big Bang Theory is funny. My favorite of all time is probably Firefly, cancelled before its time. I'll also watch Game of Thrones sometimes. Don't expect much on that, though; I read the books, but it was years ago.

Music? Oh god. Ohgodohgod. I really don't know much about this stuff, and I dread to say anything, lest I ostracize myself in some way I don't understand. I like...the Silversun Pickups? The Cure? Some other songs by bands I will never remember? I don't bloody know. My favorite music is the sound of thunderstorms as I spend another night not sleeping. Take of it what you will.

I, however, am a great fan of food. I cook things, like tacos and brilliant dishes with chicken breasts. My favorite food I don't make? Pizza. I have a weakness for it that may never end. No vegetables, please; I can hear their living flesh scream when I bite into them.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Clean Clothing is pretty important. Ever have to wear the same thing for a week? It sucks.

Food and water is pretty obvious, but only being without it really lets you know how important it really is.

My computer, my phone, and the internet allow me to attempt to communicate with the outside world. Hello out there!

My Mighty Steed gets me from place to place; this is generally from home to work, and from work to home. If you ever see a fellow in a black golf shirt, black dress pants on a black bike riding in Regina, that might be me. I'll probably be confused and flustered if you wave.

The shelter over my head is pretty amazing right now, and I certainly don't deserve the luxury I have here. There's a bloody pool in the backyard, and a hot tub. Sometimes I forget for a week, then swim for hours until my eyes burn.

Finally, my job. Sure, it's not glamorous, but I enjoy it and it certainly pays me enough to be happy.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Apparently, not cluttering ones mind is exceptionally good for you. We all spend so much time obsessing, worrying, and wishing that we rarely have time to observe what's going on around us.

That being said, I haven't mastered my own mind nearly as much as I could, and often find my mind wandering between video games, society, food, and dreams. I'm really interested in dreams (and food is pretty awesome too).
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Generally, I'm working. At a liquor store, selling vice to people who probably don't need it, but wouldn't know what to do without it. Not that I judge. I indulge as often as anyone else, just more likely while curling up with a book than in a spectacularly gnarly party (is that even a thing anymore? I don't know).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit

I've been a homeless fortune teller, sleeping in a gazebo behind a church. Seriously. Best time of my life. Ask me about it.

You too are finding it hard to find friends in this strange province. I've been here almost half a year, but I haven't met a damn person.

Also, even if you are far away but think you offer enough enticement to get me out of the free room and board thing I have going now.

Seriously consider that last part; this province itself has been a bust for me in almost every way so far.
