My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Oh, hello.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Daytime = product management in digital things. The rest of the time I'm usually taking some kind of class, trying to swim or surf, working on various projects, reading about things I'd like to see or visit or eat or cook or dance to.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
doodling, naming things, singing, listing.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I reflect light.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Music, humor, friendship, family, integrity, and some kind of 24-hour convenience store within a few blocks' walking distance.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
warmer weather/places, contractors' estimates, if millenials are actually as horrible as they seem, where's Putin? (when he was missing)
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
thanking Dog it's Friday.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I will watch the shit out of some cat videos, especially if it involves cats and dolphins. I think Russians are putting out some quality animal videos these days (the new cold war?), though of course the Japanese are one of the traditional superpowers in this arena.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
you have a sense of humor (tending towards the absurdist/dark/sarcastic end of the spectrum), you like to eat (omnivorously but not without standards), you like to be active, you appreciate the creative arts, you like to dance, you have loves and hates and passions. You have a good to great relationship with your parents. I think the more we have in common, the better, though I don't believe that a carbon copy would be that exciting.

Hopefully you don't say the phrase "Anything but country and hiphop" on your profile, or in your soul for that matter. I think those genres have some fine tunes, actually.

Finally, you acknowledge that while in the short term, some attention is ultimately do want to leave this site. (It's possible, I've escaped before.) Even if this all looks good on paper (interest- or percentage-wise), chemistry is key. So you'd be willing to dispense with the prolonged emailing (I'm not looking for penpals) and get to meeting face to face to see if it works.
