My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I really enjoy anything involving creativity. These days I do a fair bit of painting and I have a stack of canvases in my room. I also enjoy writing, and I've played in a couple of noisy bands (Thanks to which I have a continuous ringing in my ears which keeps me company.)

I'll be in Vancouver and Victoria, a fair bit in March and April (and likely continuing)
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working, painting, spending time with friends, laughing (often at myself and the thoughts flowing through my own head) and planning the next steps.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
My job, listening to and understanding people, making people laugh, sometimes writing and painting.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
I'm a big nerd for modern writers Kurt Vonnegut, Chuck Palahniuk, David Foster Wallace, Christopher Moore, Douglas Coupland and a bunch of others. I also go through SciFi phases and the odd airport novel (Grisham or some thriller or another)

Movies: I really like a lot of higher quality arty stuff, but I can certainly enjoy a lot of hollywood movies as well.

TV: Breaking Bad, It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, The Daily Show, Dexter, Shameless, so basically "we wrote this to appeal to a certain demographic by being edgy and offensive to people who are very easily offended."

Music, I like music and my tastes change.

Artists: James Jean, Banksy, Jackson Pollock, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Shepard Fairey, Jasper Johns, and pretty much anyone who put's paint on canvas, paper, walls, or whatever with some energy and passion.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Humour, books, a few good friends, art supplies, decent food (or ingredients), adventure of some sort.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Humour, art, ways to stage the perfect heist.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out somewhere with friends.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
When I was a child I lived in Pohnpei, in Micronesia one of my favourite after school hobbies was sneaking into the legislature building and spying on their meetings. Of course the meetings were very boring but the whole spying thing was awesome as heck.

Ok that's not very private, but I've actually snuck into and spied on the legislature of a foreign nation, which if I wasn't 10 or so at the time would be very secret stuff and I'd have to kill anyone reading this post.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
There are lots of reasons you might want to message me:
You want to meet up for a coffee, or go for a walk.
Perhaps you need to tell me there's something horribly wrong with my profile.
You need a laugh (preferably not at my expense).
Maybe you have a plan and you need a coconspirator. Someone to run through the logistics with. We could storyboard the whole thing with post it notes, and discuss the most effective strategies for execution. Last but not least the implementation. Or we could just wing it.
