I tend to be somewhat shy until I get to know a person. Once I open up, people often are surprised by the multitude of personality traits I exibit. They say appearances can be deceiving, and in my case, I like to think it's definately true. I'm a quiet, introverted person who'd rather spend a quiet night at home watching movies and eating a good meal than going out to clubs and concerts, getting drunk and then forgetting where I parked. I do enjoy going out every once in a while, and having a good time. I'm just not the type who really likes to party all the time.

I'm a hopeless romantic by nature, who still believes in things like chivalry, honor, love at first sight, and happily ever after. I'm not so naive to think that such things are easily obtained though. In this day an age, true love is hard to find, and harder to maintain. But if you ask me, that makes it all the more precious and worth while.

At one point in my life, I was a very avid reader. I still am to an extent, but find I don't have as much time as I'd like to do so. Too many good books, and not enough time to read them all. I also write some myself. Mostly poetry, though occasionally the rare short story or two makes it out of my head and onto paper. I also dabble in photography, and while not the best, I do think I am fairly good at it. My three biggest passions in life are movies, music, and art. My tastes run from one end of the spectrum to the other.

Another quick note about me. I am somewhat of a nerd, and do enjoy playing video games and role playing. I have a mild addiction to Rock Band 2 when I get the chance to play it. Mostly, I play Silent Hill, Legacy of Kain, Starcraft, and World of Warcraft. Yes, I realize that this may be why I don't have much of a social life, but I enjoy doing what I do.

Currently, working a good, if not profitable job that I enjoy, trying to live life to it's fullest, and looking for someone to spend time with.

Listening, cheering people up, coming up with off the wall ideas, and cooking (at least that's what people tell me)

I'd have to say my hair and my eyes. Those are the two things I get more comments on than anything else. My height would be a close third.

Oh god, where to start? Far too many to list them all, but I'll at least give some examples.

Books: The Iron Dragon's Daughter, Wicked: The Life and Times of the Wicked Witch of the West, World War Z, the Dragonlance series, anything by H.P. Lovecraft or Stephen King, and collections of ghost stories.

Movies: Labrynth, What Dreams May Come, Dagon, Black Sheep, Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, Hellboy, Stranger Than Fiction, the Saw series, just to list a few. I have a love for horror movies, no matter how bad they are. If it falls into that genre, I'm willing to watch it at least once.

Music: Kamelot, Evanescence, Johnny Cash, Dragonforce, David Bowie, Nightwish, Breaking Benjamin, Bree Sharp, Carlos Santana, Classical music such as Motzart or Bethoven, just to list a few. My tastes in music are VERY ecclectic.

Food: Well, I'm fairly easy going when it comes to food. My favorite though is italian. I'm very fond of pastas.

If I'm not working, I'm usually sitting at home, watching a movie, reading a book, or messing around on the computer.

Even though I've seen it dozens of times, I still cry when watching What Dreams May Come.
