My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Photographer. Writer. Trivia junkie. Movie geek. Music nerd. Occasional reader. Traveler. Keeper of the faith. Defender of the crown.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Photographer w/ CSR day job.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Night photography. I've shot all around Louisville and am one of the best. Trivia. Movie and music trivia even moreso. I can name a movie (in general) by three actors and can figure a song within three notes.

Other than that cracking a joke, making conversation, knowing the best places to eat in town, and being a lot of fun.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm smart and funny, interesting and honest. And authentic.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

My taste range all over the place but some of my favorites are: "Into the Wild," Jon Krakauer, "On the Road," Jack Kerouac, "The Gunslinger," Stephen King, "The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul," Douglas Adams. I read sci-fi by Philip K. Dick, Harlan Ellison, Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov, Frank Herbert and Richard Matheson as much as I read crime fiction by Leslie White, Raymond Chandler, Michael Connolly, Jim Thompson, Dashiell Hammett, and Mickey Spillane.

A mix of mainstream and indie fare. My favorites would be "Close Encounters of the Third Kind," "Braveheart," "Carlito's Way," "Jurassic Park," "The Shawshank Redemption," "Touch of Evil," "Sunset Blvd.," "Get Carter," "The French Connection," "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" "Memento," and other stuff.

As for music I'm a big fan of Southern Rock/blues e.g. Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Black Crowes, Johnny Lang, etc. I like jazz, alternative-90's, acoustic, unplugged, live, and indie stuff as well, notable groups like Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros but I can listen to Coldplay, too.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
- MP3 player (formerly Zune, now Sony Walkman)
- Laptop
- Canon 40D camera w/ lenses and tripod
- Book collection (couldn't bring just one...)
- Coffee
- Pizza
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Any and everything. Generally, what all I have planned during a given week. In conversations, the immortal "Why?"
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
My Fridays are never typical. Maybe doing the First Friday Trolley hop. Maybe doing night photography. Maybe sitting and drinking at BBC. I'm open to anything.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
"Close Encounters of the Third Kind" is my favorite movie of all time.
