My self-summary
I'm a British man living in America. Family and friends are important to me. I enjoy long walks. I have a passion for electronic music and writing.
What I’m doing with my life
I work as a software developer in the area. I have a wide range of hobbies; from playing video games to practicing martial arts.
I’m really good at
I used to pick up foreign languages very well, though I'm a little out of practice, admittedly.

Writing and proofreading.

Making mix CDs.
The first things people usually notice about me
Meet me and decide for yourself...
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books: The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Good Omens, American Gods, Neverwhere (yes, Gaiman has yet to go wrong with me), and Rob Shearman's short story collections (Tiny Deaths and Love Songs for the Shy and Cynical) are among my top choices. I have also enjoyed reading some Discworld. There are others too, but I can't think of them presently. In summary, I enjoy stories with a scifi/fantasy and/or absurd/surreal slant.
Non-fiction is usually science, philosophy or computer related.

Movies: Clerks(and most things Kevin Smith has done), The Matrix (only the first two), Snatch, True Romance, Office Space, LotR trilogy, Star Wars original trilogy, Pulp Fiction, Fight Club, Serenity, Cowboy Bebop the Movie, Shaun of the Dead Hot Fuzz, Withnail And I.

Music: Basically anything that falls under the electronic music umbrella (current favourites include: Disclosure, Rudimental, Netsky, Camo & Krooked, Nero, Knife Party , and anything you'd hear on the Ministry of Sound radio station. On a side note, I love Daft Punk, but find their newest album a bit hit or miss). I also like some rock, such as Pink Floyd or Oasis.
Having said that, I basically listen to anything that isn't country.

Shows: Doctor Who, Community, Sherlock, Spaced, Futurama, How I Met Your Mother, are among my top choices. I have also been known to watch the occasional British panel show (such as 8 out of 10 Cats and Nevermind the Buzzcocks).

** I've been on a stand-up comedy kick lately. Got any recommendations? Feel free to let me know!

I'll eat just about anything, but I especially like Thai, Indian, Tex-Mex and Cajun.
The six things I could never do without
In no special order: My phone, my watch, a computer, my wallet, my family, my friends, and my glasses.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Do I have my life in order?

What is the meaning of life?

Also stuff about the universe. Are we alone? Will we eventually colonize other planets?

How about time travel and parallel universes?

Technology, and where we can be in the future.

I also think about the number 42 on the odd occasion.
