My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I am a person who likes to have conversations. I'm fairly quiet, and love to listen, but I think discussion is very important. I'll talk about pretty much anything, but mostly I find myself discussing life, philosophy, or media. I much prefer talking face to face, rather than typing or over the phone, but most any type of conversation will do.

I like giving advice, even when it's not really warranted, but I like to think I know when it isn't the best time. I've always been a proponent of trying anything once, because I love new experiences. I love learning and going to new places, but am a creature of habit, so breaking out of cycles is difficult for me. I like reading people, or trying to read people and failing miserably.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Going through a lot of changes. Everything positive. Getting everything back on track.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Listening, discussing, motivating. I like to think I'm fairly athletic, and can pick up games pretty easily. I'm really good at learning as well.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My dimples, not even gonna try to sugar coat it.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I'm a very visual person, so reading can be difficult for me, but I enjoy the works of Douglas Adams, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman. I prefer comic books, but have not read a lot.

I will watch any movie once, but I prefer cerebral, concept based movies. Or cheesy action movies and comedies, which is kind of a strange juxtaposition. Picking out favorite movies has always been really difficult for me, but some might be Serenity, O Brother, Where Art Thou?, and Eternal Sunshine on the Spotless Mind.

I watch a lot of television shows. I don't really have a preference when it comes to specific genres, but some of my favorites are Star Trek: The Next Generation, Scrubs, Futurama, Sherlock (BBC 2010 version), Firefly, Mythbusters, Trigun, Cowboy Bebop, and Jericho.

I don't really seek out music. When I listen to something, it's usually talk radio or podcasts. When I do listen to music, I prefer sort of eclectic, whimsical, indie rock techno. Very specific and strange, I know, but that's what I like. I will listen to and enjoy most types of music with any sort of beat, but I won't seek them out. I don't listen to lyrics really, so most meaning is lost on me, but if i listen to something enough, I might get it one day.

I will eat pretty much anything, I don't really have a preference either. I'm a pretty terrible cook, but I hold my own, most of the time.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) Friends
2) Family
3) Conversation
4) Intellectual Growth
5) Technology
6) Entertainment
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
I really just spend a lot of time thinking. I am in my own head a lot. I find myself musing the most about life and philosophy, but also ideas for board/card games and words. I like find the correct words for any situation.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Working. Or playing board games with friends. Or hanging at a bar with friends. Or home alone relaxing after a long week. I could be doing anything really, just whatever strikes me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I am legitimately terrified of most insects. If I know they're there, I can hide it pretty well, but if they surprise me, I'm done.
