I am passionate, honest, and colorful.

My Self-Summary

I'm a self-proclaimed dork, one of those quirky gifted kids that grew up intellectualizing everything- sometimes a little too much. I believe in kindness and honesty, and I make great attempts at optimism. The healthy streak of cynicism and social aversion helps to keep my naivete in check. I've been called both tomboy and vamp. I love to get dirty but I clean up pretty nice too.

I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking for here. I stumbled across the site looking for support as a bisexual female. I am in a serious relationship, but he knows I have these desires and would be happy to explore them with me. I have found myself alone a lot lately, as friends have other priorities. It's not necessarily a bad thing, and I have enjoyed the alone time, but I'm ready to meet new people with fresh perspectives and intricate minds. Initially, I would like to meet real people (read female) and have stimulating conversation, whether it be intellectual or sexual in nature. I'm laid back and open, not here to rush anything.

What I’m doing with my life

I currently work full time and take a class here and there towards an MBA. I'm all about DIY projects from remodeling to gardening. I don't have children yet, but have furry critters to care for and love. I can't stand being indoors for too long, so I wander the outdoors from my property to the mountains looking for peace in nature. I also own and restore classic cars, but back trouble has been keeping me away from it lately. One of my favorite hobbies is to be a total grease monkey.

I’m really good at

Finding creative solutions to problems and giving (sometimes brutally honest) advice. I'm also great at being quirky and weird, but I'm not embarrassed easily so it works out okay.

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes, alert to my surroundings and learning something all the time. My smile has been called vibrant, but I like to think it's secretive, almost a Mona Lisa smirk. Honestly though, it's probably what's in my shirt that people notice.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My tastes lean toward the macabre, with my favorite author being Poe. I will read anything I can get my hands on, though. Movies are the same, I'm always looking for something to scare the crap out of me. Since I'm a hopeless romantic, however, I must admit that smart romantic books and movies appeal to me at times. Mostly I just love a good musical about a serial killer. Musically I have wide tastes, I like most anything and love to hear great live music. If I'm alone I tend to grind some metal or industrial. My favorite foods are rice with almost any Asian dish, Mediterranean fare, New Mexican, and vegetarian dishes (although I'm not strictly vegetarian).

The six things I could never do without

Animal energy in my home, chapstick, a car, pen & paper, orgasms, hot beverages.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How many things I have to do! This causes anxiety yet allows me to plan carefully. I don't try to look to far into the future, and live for the moment. I also wonder how people can be so cruel sometimes, and work through a lot of conflicts in my head before I attempt to work through them with someone else.

On a typical Friday night I am

At one time I would have been out at the local brewpub or somewhere dancing, listening to some live music. These days, however, I am more of a hermit. I love my XBox 360 (a lil too much) and watch movies constantly. If it's full moon, though, I'm out howling in it.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm open to most any question as long as it's respectfully asked.
