Despite the fact that I've put up a couple of photos where I'm not smiling, that's most definitely not the norm. My days are currently filled with happiness! Also, I have this little curly bit of hair on my fringe that keeps falling down on my forehead.

I definitely should be asleep right now, but instead I'm writing rubbish in my profile. I reckon if I write too much here then it'll spoil the surprise if you bother to get to know me. That probably does a fair job of the kind of persona I carry around actually. I enjoy surprising people.

Working in the week teaching people how to fix things for other people over the phone, and making merriment most weekends. :)

I guess I'm good at a few things, like piano and a few sports and things. I'm pretty coordinated and fit, so I do like going to the beach and getting outdoors. I'm pretty good at sleeping too, I get enough practice.

Probably my grin. Possibly my blue eyes. I've not really asked anyone to be honest so this is pure guesswork.

I used to read a shitload, but haven't buried myself in anything much lately. I've got a list of books I've gotta go out and read. I'm not awesome at remembering all the books and movies and things I watch. Here's a few I remember liking:

Books/Authors: Terry Pratchett - the Discworld series, Good Omens (with Neil Gaiman), Douglas Adams - the Hitchhikers 'trilogy', Doug Naylor - Red Dwarf, Stephen King - The Stand

Movies: Um. I dunno, lots of movies. I can't pick any right now.

My musical tastes vary wildly. Huge variety of electronic music from psy to D&B to breaks to dub, Rock, Indie, Weird, Folk music - I'm partial to just about anything that's musically interesting or enjoyable.

My tastes have changed quite a bit. Here's a few artists I like at the moment: Ben Folds (that won't change), The Shins, The Moldy Peaches, Tapes & Tapes, Beastie Boys, Xploding Plastix, Fiona Apple, The Dresden Dolls, Darren Hanlon, Dave Brubeck, Mantrix, Naked Tourist, Pendulum, Pixies, Sufjan Stevens, Vibrasphere, Shpongle, Flaming Lips, Bjork, Elliot Smith...

Lots more, but that's reasonably representative.

While not much of a dirty hippie I do like to get it out of my system once in a while. Hence I enjoy having a good stomp around in the dirt at doofs.

Foods: Oh man, waaay too hard to specify with this. When it comes to culinary delights I'm reasonably adventurous. I love good food of almost any origin, from Middle-eastern fare to Indian, Thai, Italian, French ... okay let's just say almost anything.

Access to a piano, holidays, being close to the coast and water... I dunno - I'm not that demanding! Good people, music that tickles my fancy and interesting food.

That's seven isn't it.

Whatever intellectual curiosity crossed my mind most recently. Recently I gave some significant thought to protecting power lines from lightning. At some other point, I was thinking a lot about how I haven't played my instruments enough lately.

You know, that kinda thing.

Out with my friends at any number of places - people's houses, one of the local pubs, stomping around under the stars.

You feel like it! You should know that I'm not single, but am very happily in an open relationship. As long as you're okay with that, drop me a line. I'm looking for new friends, people to play with and other assorted mischief.
