My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Dormant writer, mediocre musician, apathetic revolutionary, and childish adult.

I'm extremely creative minded, but struggle constantly to find the central idea.

I'm equally intrigued by the working class and intellectuals. If you're both, I think you're swell.

I work hard and drink harder (however dormant, I'm still a writer).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Trying to get my shit together before I turn 30. What does that mean? No, seriously, please inform me if you're aware of what that means.

I'm working my ass off in the service industry and trying to learn as much as I can before the narrow-mindedness of old age sets in.

I'm trying to make sense of all of the seemingly disparate grandiose ideals I've been carrying for most of my adulthood.

I'm improving? Aging? Fermenting?
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Nothing. I'm pretty good at most things except dancing and caring about my dancing skills.
I can make a damn fine cocktail,
cook the shit out of some collard greens,
build a structure I wouldn't be afraid to go inside,
and regale you with a decently manicured repertoire of puns.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That's a pretty subjective question. I suppose it depends on what the circumstances are.

Edit: I still agree with this statement, but that was before my tattoo. Now it's my tattoo.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Poetry as Insurgent Art by Lawrence Ferlingetti is as close to an all time favorite as I think I'll get. I just finally finished The Joke which carved out a place in my heart for Milan Kundera. I recently wept because I lost my collection of short stories by Alice Munro. Please help me find it.

Also, Vonnegut, Cortazar, and Camus were badasses.

Movies: Anything by Wes Anderson, Sophia Coppola, or Jim Jarmusch. Lots and lots more.

TV: Daily Show and cobert, breaking bad, Misfits, Twin Peaks, Fargo, Boardwalk Empire, True Detective, Game of Thrones, anything from Aaron Sorkin or Joss Whedon, and lots more. Just ask.

Music is complicated. To prevent a tldr situation or a vague "I like everything" statement let me just throw out some of my biggest influences- The Carter Family, Gram Parsons, Bob Dylan, The Ramones, Bright Eyes, John Prine, Billy Bragg etc. Also, currently I'm really digging Nana Grizol, Little Wings, Digable Planets, getting back into Spoon and the Magnetic Feilds, and will always have a special place in my heart for Silver Jews.

Food is a passion for me. I like everything from fine cuisine to comfort food and especially like any food from another culture.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My kitty cat, a pen, a notebook, alcohol, a knife, a lighter.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
When the revolution will start, how I can run a restaurant ethically and, why I don't think about much else anymore.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Eat, work, drink, sleep. Boring. Wage labor's a bitch, but I work hard.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
This is a stupid question. I'm sort of embarrassed that I wasted these words just to say that.
