My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
So, if my name didn't give it away already, which hopefully it did, I'm a chef. Being a chef is a huge part of who I am so you'll notice it's a reoccuring theme in my profile.

I've been in Austin for 7 years now, holy crap! That saying about time flying really is true.

My biggest passions in life are food, music and film.

I value my family and friends very highly. I'm about as loyal as they come.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Running a kitchen. I'm the exec. chef, which really means more administrative work and less cooking than you'd probably think. In a restaurant the cooks do most of the cooking; However, I still really love to cook and I'm damn good at it.

When I'm not working, I like being outdoors, cycling, going to the movies, building my record collection, checking out other restaurants, hitting dive bars, traveling as much as possible.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making foodstuff
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I like reading books about cooking and chefs, but my favorite book ever is still probably "the giving tree". That one always stuck with me.

I really love movies, lots of different types of movies. Mostly comedies, ones that I can watch multiple times and not get sick of. Here are just some of the first that come to mind: the big lebowski, animal house, the 3 amigos, back to the future, nacho libre, pulp fiction, spaceballs, ghostbusters, the royal tennenbaums. Pretty much anything by the Coen bros, Wes Anderson, Quentin Tarantino, Mel Brooks and anything starting Bill Murray and a whole lot more.

As far as tv shows go... Shows I've watched or am up to speed on are breaking bad, the leftovers, the walking dead, game of thrones, arrested development, curb your enthusiasm. There's more but we can talk about that later.

I love lots of types of music. If want to talk music, we can talk music.

I love food that was made with love.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
family
friends
corrective lenses
music
good food

I guess I only need 5 things
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What the future holds
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Making sure my kitchen is running smoothly, followed by chilling out at home or heading out with friends for drinks.
