I am spontaneous, sarcastic, and outgoing.

My Self-Summary

I consider myself a pretty funny and intelligent person. I enjoy watching movies, traveling, road-trips, stand-up comedy, meeting new people, and having fun in general. I like cooking, driving, Vegas, and last minute trips to who knows where.
I was born in New York and moved here when I was 4. The East Coast definitely has a lot going for it but you can't beat the weather out here.
I'm not a big fan of the stereotypical O.C. girl. I like people who are more down to earth. A genuine person interests me much more than someone who puts up a front.
I consider myself a pretty open book. People can ask me anything and know they will get a straight, honest answer. I don't tailor the answer to what they want to hear either. I can be pretty blunt. What good are friends and what kind of friend is someone if they have to lie to you?
I had an annual pass to Disneyland for a long time but the damn thing has gotten pretty expensive and only one of my friends still has one.
I really like to people watch and observe. The gestures, body language, and essence of people speak volumes.

What I’m doing with my life

I aspire to maybe open my own restaurant one day. I'd like to be able to be more creative at work and chain restaurants that I've worked at don't offer that.
Spending time with friends and family.
Going on adventures and traveling when I can.

I’m really good at

Cooking and Barbequing, making witty or sarcastic comments based on my surroundings. Finding the humor in any situation and being a generous person toward my friends and family. Making my friends and family laugh, cheering people up, taking care of those close to me.
I think I'm pretty good at using correct gramma. I'm not bad at using my kitchen spanish at work to communicate either.

The first things people usually notice about me

My eyes! I seem to get that a lot. I guess my sense of humor as well. Someone always seems to comment on my hair, I don't know why. Its somewhat shorter than in the pics I have up but still slicked back most of the time.

I'm addicted to Diet Coke. Lately, diet Mountain Dew has been pretty awesome.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Movies: Pulp Fiction, Crash (The James Spader one and the new one), Shawshank Redemption, Sleepers, The Game, Casino, Goodfellas, Supertroopers, Training Day, Heat, Waiting, the Ocean's series, Scarface, Basic Instinct, Backdraft, The Departed, American Ganster, Malice. Anything with Deniro, Pacino, Brad Pritt, Angelina Jolie, Bruce Willis, Denzel Washington is usually pretty good.

Books: I have read some leadership books for work that were pretty interesting. I like to continue learning throughout my life whether it be from books, magazines, experiences, whatever.
"Everyone Poops" by Taro Goami. It's a real page turner.
I really like to go out to see live comedy at the Improv or other comedy clubs.

Italian food is amazing, a good steak is terrific as well. I'm not a huge fan of Sushi but I do like Asian cuisine. Pan seared Sea Scallops from Opah, Tortellini from Peppino's.

The six things I could never do without

Other than the obvious crap you need to survive:
Family
Friends
Good restaurants/food
a car (last time I checked we didn't have a subway here) Movies (I rent way too many movies)
Cell (who can live without texting? haha)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

My career path and life in general. My friends and family are always on my mind. Ways to help people I care about get where they want to go. I think about where my life will take me next.
I'm usually thinking about what adventure I can go on next no matter who it might be with.
What really was going on with Burt and Ernie?
How come Donald Duck walks around with no pants on but when he gets out of the shower he wraps a towel around his bottom?
Isn't it ironic that only one company makes the board game Monopoly?
Did you know that 83% of all statistics are made up on the spot?

On a typical Friday night I am

Lately on a Friday night I'm hanging out with friends. Seeing a comedy show, going to a movie or out to a restaurant most likely. Shooting pool is a great way to pass some time too.
Smoking hookah here and there is relaxing.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I like to wear argyle socks.

The economy has gotten so bad even Motel 6 won't leave the light on for you.

You should message me if

You like a fun, caring, generous person who can make you laugh. You have to appreciate good food, stand-up comedy, a little sarcasm, and random trips to wherever.
