My Self-Summary

I am not your average guy. I know nothing of sports or cars (aside from how to operate one. More or less.) I am a musician, and my music is very important to me. I will define 'my music' when we get to talking, but Sigur Ros is a good start.

I am, in just about every sense of the word, a geek. I make a living fixing computers, and fill my free time with, erm, fixing computers. I'm into video games and fantasy and all that hilarity. That being said, I do not need to be in the company of nerdy people all the time. Don't worry; if you don't feel like discussing orcs, I'm perfectly capable of a normal adult relationship. More or less.

Finally, I'm honest and considerate. I always put others first and do my best to help whenever needed. I enjoy taking care of people. And when it comes right down to it, sitting on the porch with a guitar and someone to laugh with is all I really need to be happy.

What I’m doing with my life

I am currently working toward my A+ certification. What I'm doing now is, in many ways, my dream job. With a little more work, I will make it into a solid career and begin taking the next step. Whatever that may be.

I’m really good at

I've been playing a handful of instruments for several years. I love conversation and debate. I'm a gamer. I know how to handle conflict. I adapt easily. I know how to make people happy.

The first things people usually notice about me

People tend to notice that I have a quiet voice. I'm soft and gentle in just about everything I do.

Shortly thereafter, they notice my calculator watch.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

My favorite bands include Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Brian Eno, Bjork, Flight of the Conchords, Fiona Apple, and Mum. I read fantasy, my favorite book being the Silmarillion. I don't watch many movies. I love Dr. Horrible. Oh, and I have a thing for strawberries.

The six things I could never do without

First of all, my computer and my guitar keep me from going insane. Sigur Ros makes me feel like life is good, even when it isn't. Strawberries, as mentioned earlier. What are we at, four? This is difficult. Someone with whom to share things. Sorry, that sounded a little cliche, but it is what it is. Air conditioning.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I spend a lot of time thinking about...everything. I think too much. If I had to choose a few things, lately I've been thinking about my future and finding the right person.

A typical night? I'm not sure I have many typical nights. I suppose you're more likely to find me tearing a machine apart than anything else.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

The most private thing I'm willing to admit is that I love it when people go out of their way to show how much they care. Even little gestures have a big effect on me.
