My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I was born and raised in Juneau, Alaska, and transplanted myself to Houston last year in search of a change of pace and climate. Being new to the area I'm looking to meet people, make new friends, and possibly meet someone special.

I'm smart, well educated, and well spoken. I'm a bit of a geek. I love gaming and nerdy things. I'm super stoked about Ren Festival starting up soon, and my ticket to Blizzcon in November. And if none of that made sense to you, that's ok, because my nerdy loves don't rule my world, and I can get along just fine with non-nerdy people without being socially awkward. I have a great sense of humor, though it borders on the inappropriate most of the time. I'm playful, fun, and friendly, but a bit on the shy side at first.

I'm very creative, and I love to write creative writing, though I don't find that I have much time for it these days.

I'm looking for people who are fun and outgoing, who can be happy chilling at home for movie night or out having an adventure.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I work for a charity organization as a Grant Writer. Being of service to others and working in a field where I make a difference is important to me. My life is pretty stable and great right now. I just moved into an apartment with my pets. I love it and its super close to my best friend.

Not sure if Houston is my forever place, but I'm getting to know it and so far really like being here.

I don't feel like I'm necessarily "missing" anything in my life, and being in a romantic relationship isn't my #1 priority, but it would be nice to meet some cool people and maybe someone special.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Making people laugh. Taking charge of situations. Listening to others. Writing. Creating. Planning trips. I'm a good problem solver. I'm intuitive, logical, and very organized. I'm really good with computers... and computer games.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I have been told that I have very pretty eyes and a great smile. Also, I have a badonk-a-donk.

The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. My dog, Kitsune. She's amazing and adorable and loyal and there's nothing like having someone who loves you unconditionally.

2. My best friends. One is here in Houston, and my life would be so boring without her! The other, unfortunately, she lives in Seattle, and it's really hard being far away from her. :(

3. My computer, which of course includes an internet connection. I'm an addict.

4. My hair drier. The Houston humidity makes me look like a clown! lol

5. My Kindle, because it's every book.

6. Music. How boring would life be without music? Perish the thought.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Traveling. I love to travel, and see new places and try new things. Even if it's just traveling to see my family in a place I've been a million times it gets me really excited.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Making casual plans with friends for dinner, shopping, drinks, or a night in with take-out and trashy TV. Maybe having people over for games and dinner. Or I'm hanging out at home enjoying my down time at the end of the week... usually with a beer or a glass of wine and something that requires a powerful video card.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I may seem very put together on the outside, but really on the inside I'm a lot like a 13 year old, and I believe every conversation eventually ends up boiled down to poop or sex.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You don't mind someone who is quirky, likes potty humor, will occasionally geek out on you, and likes to do their own thing now and then. I pique your curiosity and you are interested in getting to know someone new, making a new friend, or you think we might have a chance at a deeper connection.

We don't have to share all the same interests or likes and dislikes. I'm as interested in getting to know people who can introduce me to new things as getting to know people who already share my own interests and proclivities.

Please do NOT message me if you cannot financially support yourself, have a drug or alcohol addiction, want to talk about politics all the time, or are super submissive in bed (unless you wanna just be friends and then what you do it bed doesn't matter to me!)

Unless you misspell all your words, obviously have no control over how grammar works, or can't think of anything better than "Hi," "Hey there," or "How are you?" I'll most likely reply.
