Hanging with my friends and family when I get a chance
Watching movies (thank heavens for the Lumière brothers!)

And avoid doing the ironing

Colour coordination. And uncoordination. Sometimes the clash is what really works. I am also a really good listener as well as an enthusiastic talker!

Movies: Sex Lies & Videotape, 12 Angry Men, Pretty in Pink, Reality Bites, The Commitments. Anything by Pedro Almodovar. There are lots more, but I forget. If there were a section for "Things I'm not good at", remembering would be number one.

Shows: The West Wing, The Newsroom,, Mad Men, True Blood, Firefly, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey. I am fundamentally opposed to reality tv and current affairs shows.

Music: The Black Keys, Beirut, The National, The New Pornographers, Neko Case, Regina Spektor, Gnarls Barkley, The Beatles, 80s pop. Ditto comment above about the remembering.

Food: Apart from being vegetarian, I'm not fussy. I love Mexican, Thai, Indian, Japanese, Italian, salted caramel, mango, cheese, eggplant parmigiana, strawberries, cherries, stone fruit, lentil soup and brunch. That last one is my favourite of all time.

If forced, I could probably do without most things, but as much as I know I should try, I cannot do without coffee and the occasional glass of red (replace with G&T after a particularly intense day).

Otherwise, apart from my basic physical needs, I probably wouldn't make it very far without my family and friends, music, intellectual stimulation, colour.
