First and foremost, I need to point out that I am utterly terrible at writing "self summaries".
But I do need to point out that I am not on here looking for a relationship or any sort of casual encounter. I am happily attatched with a shiny engagement ring to boot. =] . I have actually been on here on behalf of a friend who is looking for a somebody, and realised it could be a decent way to meet people to talk to, as I don't get the opportunity to go out much between work and uni.

A couple of things though. First, my mother is 38 and my father is 40. So you can understand that if you are around that age I will liken you to being as old as my parents, and I wont talk to you cuz I find it creepy. Prejudiced, yes. But that's my perogative.

Also, I don't appreciate people who talk to me before reading my profile. So if you haven't at least given it a browse, don't bother :D

So, as I said, I'm bad at this but willing to pull random factoids out of a hat. Here goes!

*I am heavily in to music. Can play most things, except the guitar and will listen to anything except ACDC or hip hop - hip hop is the devil personified.

*I live for stationary shopping. It takes far too long to pull me out of officeworks!!

*I love piercings and tattoos. They have become somewhat an addiction for me and I really can't get enough

*I am deathly afraid of nuns and prawns.

*I am not religious. At all. I don't worship the earth or an imaginary friend. I do however have very strong views on religion and unless they match mine, this is a quick warning to avoid that topic with me =]

*I am, however, addicted to the paranormal. Ghost tours, random cemetary walks at 2am, personal reasearch...I love it!

*I'm the biggest nerd I know. And I know some pretty big nerds...

*I name everything. My printer's name is Barry and my fiance's brother's hotted up rexxy is named Cynthia.

*I use a gratuitous amount of text smileys on a daily basis. You have been warned.

*I love red lipstick and black eyeliner. They make you look HOTT even when you feel like crap.

*I loathe Kylie Minogue, Delta Goodrem, Miley Cyrus, Kyle and Jackie O and that chick who keeps hosting big brother with a flaming passion.

*I live for intelligent, thought provoking conversation

MK Ultra has been occupying my mind a little bit lately.
I spend a lot of time daydreaming about what could have been, what has been and what will be. I think about how I want to colourscheme the house cuz I haven't painted it yet and it still doesn't feel like home. I wonder about cycles and balance, moreso since I started studying psych. How the body is constantly adjusting levels of this and that to maintain stability. How Summer always follows Spring which always follows Winter which always follows Autumn which always follows Summer.
I think about Religion as fact, as myth and as a tool. I wonder whether the books I read on postapocalyptic societies have more validity to them than I originally gave them credit for. I wonder how much of what I look at is a lie, what I actually know and shudder at the thought of what I don't know.

I wonder if I'll ever see the tomorrow I keep dreaming about, or if I'll merely find an endless stream of todays with only slight variation. This won't make sense unless we've discussed it.

So there you have it. It's a mess in there.
