I am Vivacious, Intelligent, and Colourful.

My Self-Summary

I'm more of a night person than morning - would rather stare at the stars than the dawn. I try not to take myself too seriously and a sense of humour is something I find immensely attractive. I do love a good chat about anything and everything, from the intelligent to the down right ridiculous.

I've always been a quite independent sort of person, but that's not to say i'm not searching for someone to enjoy the journey with.

I am looking to meet people who are adventurous with life as a whole, someone who enjoys life as much as me and is happy to meet up and see where things lead.

What I’m doing with my life

Dancing through it

I’m really good at

Exploring the world around me - i enjoy everything from the opera to grungy gigs, theatre to street art. For peace and calm you can't beat milling around in a book store though. I will try anything once and can't resist a challenge.

The first things people usually notice about me

I'm not sure really, a difficult one to answer myself. I am usually smilling so maybe that? I'll leave this one for you to decide.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books:
Venus in Furs, The Wide Sargasso Sea, On Beauty, The Book Thief, Lolita, The Picture of Dorian Gray, The God of Small Things, Neverhwere, American Gods, Sandman series, The Wasp Factory and other Ian Banks books, Journey to the Center of the Earth, We Need to Talk About Kevin, The Day of the Triffids, The Hitchikers Guide and Dirk Gently books.

Films:
Pan's Labarinth, Breakfast at Tiffanys, Withnail and I, Sex and Lucia, Nightwatch/Daywatch, generally low budget gore-fest type films...Trailer Park of Terror, Bad biology etc, The Romero zombie series.

Music:
Florence and the Machine, Ting Tings, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bat for lashes, The Black Keys, P J Harvery, Laura Marling, Seasick Steve, Soledad brothers, Rasputina,

And much much more.

The six things I could never do without

Friends
Interesting reading material
Good humour
Mobile phone (well it's my contact with the world, my music etc so as sad as it sounds it's in!)
Sunshine (even if it's sporadic and interspersed with rain)
A toothbrush

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Human interaction and what it all means

On a typical Friday night I am

I'm always on the search for new and fun places to try out - i love quirky bars/restaurants with real character and am more likely to be found at a small local bar or gig than raving at a huge nightclub (although i do occasionally like to dance!).

You should message me if

You know how to make a good chilli chocolate cocktail/like the sound of my profile/have an interesting theory on the meaning of life/have a good sense of humour/are capable of intelligent discourse

Any or all of the above!
