I am easy-going, always busy, and occasionally caustic.

My Self-Summary

Hi. I'm Cait. I was on here before, but I got annoyed with the fact all my questions had been answered when I was just 17. SO BOO! I'm back.

I'm only here for friends! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE make note of that.

I am a full time college student (meaning I'm broke). I am a professional body-piercer **edit: I'm on hiatus due to a flare up of carpel tunnel**. I'm also an amateur model and I mainly do new school pin up.

I’m very much in love with body modification. I have four tattoos and I do not plan on stopping any time soon.

I love animals and am an animal rights activist, but I'm not a full on vegetarian. So I suppose my diet is a bit of a contradiction.

Politics is something I'm very interested in.

I like to have a good time, but then again, who doesn't? Who possibly gets up in the morning saying they WANT to have a bad day? Correction, I know people like that. If you’re one, good bye.

I take great pride in my heritage (Irish, Czech, and French). I'm also Catholic and I do attend mass almost weekly. At the same time though, the Church does have some stances on which I firmly disagree. If you want to know more about that, ask. I also mix Buddhist beliefs in with my faith. It's a bit... hard for most people to grasp.

Ok. Now that you have a good feeling about what I WANT, here's what I DON'T.

I do not want friends who are SUPER bi-polar, or depressed, or skitzo. I've been affiliated plenty of those people, and I cannot deal with the drama they always think is going on.

I CAN'T STAND bitchy little girls (whether they have a vagina or not). If you know enough to not be a ravenous cunt to every single person around you, then you're my type of person. Drama free, please.

I do not want anyone who is going to make me try to convert to their religion or non-religion. If you want to be atheist or agnostic or protestant or stand on your head and worship the great purple elephant, whatever - that's perfectly fine with me. I'm open-minded enough. I expect the same courtesy.

I tend to not get along with overly sensitive people as I'm quite blunt even without realising I'm doing so...

Please dear God no preachy vegan hipsters.

Oh, and if you're old enough to be my father, please don't hit on me... It's just creepy.

Other than that I suppose I'm pretty easy to get along with!

What I’m doing with my life

As I said before, I’m attending college and that takes up most of my time. I’m triple majoring in Anthropology, History, and Secondary History Education with a double minor in Theology (I just changed this) and Philosophy.

I try to volunteer weekly. Since moving to Chicago, I've gotten involved with the Labre Ministry to the Homeless. It's a great cause and we're always looking for more people, even if they arn't Loyola students.

I’m really good at

I’m really good at artistic endeavors. I love to paint (even if I’m not that good) and draw. I’ve done everything in the theatre I possibly could while in high school. I love to sing (but I am a little shy about my voice) and play piano (something I’ve done since I was three). I’ve also played drums since I was about eleven. I also am learning how to play guitar, bass, and fiddle.

Besides all that, I love to ride horses and work to rehabilitate abused animals. I also have this bad problem of trying to rescue stray dogs.

The first things people usually notice about me

The first things usually noticed about me physically are my eyes, lips, smile, and hair. I have tri-coloured eyes (mainly green) and really full lips. I also have some pretty wild hair normally, however I'm in the process of growing my hair out for locks of love. It's pretty constant now.

Clothing wise, it’s usually that I like to dress well. I tend to make my own clothes. DIY.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

A. Favourite Books: I suppose this would be easier if I listed authors and philosophers… Dante, Orwell, Leon, Atwood, Socrates, Plato, Voltaire, Shakespeare, Hawthorne... etc... etc... Lately, all I've been able to read is text books. Not so fun.

B. Favourite Movies: RANDOM. I really LOVE Silence of the Lambs. Oh, and anything with Simon Pegg. I've had a little girl crush on him since Spaced.

C. Favourite Music: This is too random to pick just a few really… So we'll just do this. Rockabilly, Psychobilly, Punk, Indie, some Country, some R&B, I'm not really hard to please.

D. I love ethnic food, especially Arabic, real Chinese, and Thai. Even though I’m not a full on vegetarian, I do mainly eat vegetarian. I CANNOT have spicy foods or milk. It doesn't end well.

The six things I could never do without

1. The various basics all humans need to survive (this also includes my glasses since I'm blind).

2. Independent thought and intelligence.

3. Travel.

4. Friendship/love.

5. My U-Pass since I don't drive.

6. Family.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

I spend most of my time thinking about politics and philosophy, but also what I'm going to do for fun.

On a typical Friday night I am

Doing homework or reading a book at a coffee shop.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I'm afraid of spit. Like I have a legitamate phobia. I'm even freaked out by the idea of the spit that's in my own mouth.

I'm a complete basket case.

You should message me if you feel like it. Also, if you live in Chicago and are preferably close to the red line.
