My self-summary
I am a researcher in the science industry and it’s a great job - it’s fun to design and develop a product that people actually use in healthcare. I caught the travel bug a while back and haven’t stopped roaming. Seeing a different place and another culture makes for the greatest adventure, and as a bonus you can tell your grand kids how that one time (not in band camp) you almost got eaten by lions. Meanwhile on this planet, New York is the coziest place for the mildly restless and insatiable - I like quirky restaurants, snooty jazz joints, any art exhibit or comedy club. The opera - if you know what screams Christmas better than a hulking diva in a viking breast plate, I’m open to suggestions. If any of this rings a bell or a chuckle, we can dive deeper over a glass of excellent wine.

As well as Fitzgerald, Salinger, Vonnegut, McEwan, Kundera, Marquez, Borges, Sedaris, Klosterman, Roth, and many melancholy Russians.

TV: The Wire, Don't Trust the B**** In Apt 23, the Simpsons, It's Always Sunny, Game of Thrones, True Detective.

The six things I could never do without
Kindle, coffee, car, anti-oxidants in red wine, stand-up comedy. Coffee counts double.

The balance between meaningful and entertained existence. Also dinner.
On a typical Friday night I am
Hanging out with friends in the city.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I secretly wish I was a swashbuckling scientist.
