I am kinda spacey, Uber-geeky, and random.

My Self-Summary

I am a female that likes Gaming (and I don't just mean online games or console games), I once managed to have a World of Warcraft acct for several years, but was not addicted. I frequently went several weeks to months without playing. I no longer pay for it though because like a small child with ADD, I've wandered off to other new and shiney things.
I enjoy a lot of things, but occasionally I take convincing. I'm sporadic and unusual. I'm rather shy to people at first, but eventually that completely goes away.
I'm open minded. I have a few beliefs, and respect others to have all kinds.
I pass time gaming either console, computer or RPG games, hanging out with friends and working. Yes, I pass time by working.

I'm a plus sized girl who is rather self conscious, but not usually afraid to speak her mind... if that makes any sense...

I love photography, cooking , gaming , the SCA , watching movies and helping others.

What I’m doing with my life

Working as a cook at an assisted living home, hoping to go to school and get a culinary degree soon, helping out my mom and Enjoying life hanging out with my friends

I’m really good at

Cooking, storytelling, being goofy, bad Karaoke and random arts and crafts.

Rambling when their is silence...

oh and being clumsy. trust me. I've made it an art form.

The first things people usually notice about me

I have a deeper voice for a female (Which means an occasional good Dr. Girlfriend impression)

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman, Villains by necessity by Eve Forward, Of Saints and Shadows by Christopher Golden, The Icewind Dale Trilogy by R.A Salvatore,

Movies: Usual Suspects, Serenity, Boondock Saints, Snatch, Lock stock and two smoking barrels, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, Lucky # Slevin, Resident Evil, grandmas boys, sean of the dead, hot fuzz, Iron man, Tenacious D and the pick of destiny, All of the Hellraiser movies, Nightmare on Elm Street movies, Friday the 13th movies, Halloween (especially the Rob Zombie remake)

TV Shows: Bones, CSI (the original), Criminal Minds, Castle, House, Firefly

Music: Tenacious D, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Nickelback, Sarah Mclaughlin, Korn, Disturbed, Drain STH, Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, Dropkick Murpheys, Amadan, Static-X, Guns N' Roses, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jewel, The Cranberries, Bush, Aerosmith, Billy Idol, often just prefer songs over bands, honestly. There is little of a particular style of music I prefer. I like what sounds good. the above bands just happen to have a lot of songs I like. But honestly, theres everything from Rock to Country songs I find amusing with everything in between, except most Rap. Music is very mood-inducing to me.

Foods: hell, I'm a cook for a living. there's a lot. Let's go with French Dip Sandwiches, Cheesecake, Medium Rare Steak... and anything a Honey-Bourbon sauce can go on.
Although I'm currently starting to be more conscious about what I eat.

The six things I could never do without

Twilight. NOT the series (i could take it or leave that) I mean that moment between dawn and sunrise, those moments between sunset and dusk. For some reason that fading or growing light makes my heart smile.

Music. It can energize me, relax me, take me back to better times, fill me with gut wrenching sadness, cause me confusion or clarity... Again back to that liking songs more than a band/performer as a whole.

Beautiful girls. (and I don't mean that in an only physical sense, something is incredible about a girl with an infectious, fun personality)

A connection. That kind of connection you have when someone understands you. No matter how corny that may sound, It's important to me. I don't have a huge family I know, so i've built my own 'family' out of people I've met on this weird journey of life.

Something electronic (although when i get frustrated they electronic things seem to malfunction. I love them, they hate me *g*)

My Car. I love to drive.

I spend a lot of time thinking about

Everything. From the average air speed velocity of an unladen swallow (african and european) to what to watch on tv, to what my coworkers may be thinking to what happened to good Saturday morning cartoons...

And lately, rediscovering myself. I keep finding me hiding behind the couch. I really should keep me in a cage.. I'm cuter that way.

Did i mention i ramble when it's silent?

On a typical Friday night I am

Fridays? Probably crashing early due to work the next morning. Thursday nights probably out at karaoke with some friends and enjoying the pub type atmosphere, i'm just not a typical bar person. Earlier nights in the week are either Gaming, watching TV, driving around or just being chill.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I live with my mother. NOT in the slacker loser way. This economy sucks and it helps make sure she has a stable place to stay with my income in the house. i have my own living room and it's not permanent but for now helps her out, the last thing my dad asked of me before he died was to take care of her, and well.. that's what I'm going to do. (I'm sure i would have gladly done so regardless... again... more rambling)

You should message me if

You are not just looking for an instant hookup, or want to talk nerdy to me *LOL*. seriously
