My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Hi. I sure would like to go on a fun date. And I am single. This works out well for you if you also fit this description.

What could a fun date be? We could play tennis. We could go roller-skating. We could be each other's de facto therapists, verbally sharing our past experiences and innermost dreams across a restaurant's table.
Would you rather just order a pizza and play old school video games? That is fun too.

Growing up, I wanted to be a comic book artist. I went to school for illustration but only found minor success doing it professionally. Meanwhile, it was much easier and more immediately rewarding to become a programmer, so I did that and spent the past four years programming Facebook games for Disney Interactive. I moved to California from the East Coast for this job. Recently, though, they did layoffs, so now I have to figure out whether I still want to be a programmer, or should I give art another shot?

UPDATE: As of April, I am working again. It's a boring but comfortable tech sort of thing. I still look forward to a brighter future.

You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
Sending me a message at all is a great start. I have a deep appreciation for women who are willing to start the conversation.

Special secret: There is something I quite like about tall women, but this is far from being a requirement.
The same is true for athletic women and very intelligent women.

I've written explanations on lots of my match questions. I recommend reading some. I often go right to "Unacceptable Answers" myself. I promise everything is actually acceptable.
