I welcome the unknown. I am very passionate about things I hold dearly (family, music, knowledge...).
I'm a total nerd in regards to learning. I love to learn.
I welcome the unconventional; I have a great appreciation for things that most people view as taboo or "blue".
I love the outdoors- I've been an avid angler my entire life. I love backpacking/camping, kayaking, really anything that involves being outside.
I'm a sports nut- I played football for 11 years, and I currently play golf, softball, hockey. I love to compete. I'm a die hard Chicago Bears fan- I bleed navy blue and orange!
Music is my greatest passion in life. Especially live music. I go to at least one concert a week.
Anything else you want to know just ask!
I'm also a TA for the Chemistry department at my school.
I love to travel.
Road trips are a regular occurrence.
- Communicating. I'm a good friend. I am fiercely loyal to those I love. My friends call me "Papa Bear" because I am protective and always have their best interests in mind.
- Being responsible
- I'm also very good at making people laugh, myself in particular
- Knowing my own flaws
- Not being shy
Favorite movie has to be Sandlot. Hands down. I also love Tombstone, Donnie Darko, and Goodfellas. I LOVE horror movies. Especially horribly cheesy "B" horror movies. So bad they are good!
I don't watch a lot of TV, but I have a few favs, like Dexter, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development (you're gonna get hop-ons), The League, New Girl, SVU, 60 Minutes, The Wire, and really anything on National Geographic or Discovery.
I'm a total foodie- and Chicago is a great city for foodies. Favorites of mine are grilled or roasted vegetables, fresh seafood, and I'm in constant pursuit of the best sandwich in the world
As for music, that's opening up a world of discussion. Here's a few: Phish, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground, STS9, Disclosure, Lotus, The Band, Eric Clapton, Frank Zappa, Del McCoury, Talib Kwali, KRS One, NIN, Bassnectar, Allman Bros, Metallica, Primus, RJD2, Pink Floyd, LCD Soundsystem, Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Johnny Cash, Radiohead, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Roy Orbison, Brian Setzer, Bowie, The Stooges, Social D, Black Flag, The Cramps, I could go on forever. My tastes are all over the place, that's barely scratching the surface.

My next road trip
I save the raging for Saturdays mostly, but if there's a concert I want to see on a Friday or if my group of friends has something planned, I'm game.
