My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I’m a native Chicagoan with a little bit of The Big Apple in my DNA. I spent the greater part of my 20’s working and schooling (Columbia) in NYC. I moved back home several years ago and now live in Lincoln Park. I love Chicago and plan to make a meaningful positive contribution to its continued vitality.

I'm extremely close with my family, friends, and in particular my younger sister who lives a stone's throw away.

Never tried online dating but figured I'd give it a whirl. Always open to new adventures :-).
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a real estate developer. Think Aqua Tower!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Best way to describe my profession is "jack of all trades, master of none". That's what I'm good at.

Someone also recently described me as being refreshingly straightforward about who I am and what I'm looking for. I'll take that as a compliment.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What the future holds. I'm a planner.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Usually I'm out on the town with co-workers (extended happy hour) or friends. Sometimes though it's just nice to post up on the couch with dinner and a movie or an episode of Shark Tank.

Why doesn't this question ask about Saturdays? Those nights are always much more adventurous!
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I'm trying out online dating!

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
You hail from a loving family and are close to your parents, siblings, and other immediate relatives. You have developed great bonds with friends over the years, some of whom you may still be in touch with from elementary school. You have a Career that you enjoy and find fulfilling. You start your days with a sense of purpose and work towards achieving your goals. You try to eat healthy, exercise regularly, and live a well-balanced lifestyle. You enjoy traveling to new places and have a good appetite for adventure and exploration. You love children and hope to have some of your own one day.

And… you are easy on the eyes ;-).
Ultimately I’m looking for my best friend and I hope you are too.
