Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I truly believe anything is possible.
If you're familiar with the term that is my Profile Name, then you
have a pretty accurate (although vague) summary of who I am if you
apply the term to a person instead of a painting or photograph.
Just to give you an example- I spent 2 years as the Maitre d' of a
fine dining French restaurant on Nantucket during the summers while
during the winters I traveled around the country with a handfull of
sassy, intelligent and wildly interesting women as the documentary
photographer for an underground S&M fetish performance troupe
based out of New Orleans!
I am definitely not a book you can judge by its cover!
If you want to know more about me then Google my name or visit my
I'm looking for someone outside of the norm. Someone to challenge
me. Someone that will help make me a better person. Someone with
secrets. A creative. A dreamer. If your head is in the clouds
that's a good thing in my book! And speaking of books- I am an open
one. As a photographer I need to put myself out there. I want
clients to hire me based on my personality as much as for my skill
behind the camera.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm living it. I'm enjoying it. I'm consuming a lot of bacon. I
definitely believe in free-will, but I also believe that things in
life will happen the way they are meant to so I just go with the
flow and I trust my instincts and I follow them, they're there for
a reason and they've led me on a wild and amazing journey so
I am a professional freelance photographer. I dabble in many fields
of photography, but my passion lies in the fine arts. I'm happiest
when I'm barefoot on a beach or lost in the woods with my camera
and I'm lucky enough that people will pay nice sums to purchase my
Last fall I spent a month working as the Set, BTS and Still
Photographer for several episodes of a new design show on HGTV
called Spontaneous Construction. Very excited about that and the
most fun I've ever had professionally behind the camera! I also
spent the summer selling my photography at the SoWa Artisan Market
in the South End every Sunday. Aside from the photography I
moonlight as a waiter at a certain "buzzing" Jazz restaurant in the
I have a love for travel. I've been on the move for the past 18
years, living all over the country. Except for Canada and the
Bahamas though I've never been out of the country. That WILL
change. I have a long life of visiting every place I've ever
dreamed of visiting ahead of me and finding a companion who enjoys
the 'wandering' lifestyle would be pretty awesome! I'm actually
contemplating jumping into the art show circuit and spending a year
or so road-tripping the country camping, creating art, chasing the
light and selling the results!
Due to my transient lifestyle, I am not looking for a girlfriend
right now. Or maybe I am. Are you a wanderer too? Are you looking
for the next adventure? I have been single for awhile and I'm fine
with that- I love my life! I'm happy in my own company but its been
sneaking up on me lately how much I miss sharing my awesome
experiences with someone special. I miss that deeper connection and
what it can bring into our lives! I am patient though, I will wait
for The One, In the meantime though I might never
meet The One unless I put myself out there so here I am! If you're
a kind, super cool, creative, independent, ambitious, intelligent,
funny, strange, quirky and personable woman, I would love to meet
you! No pressure, I'm looking for friendship first. Always.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Roller skating. (Howard the Duck taught me how)
Finding beauty in the mundane. When models I photograph see flaws
in themselves, I just see beauty 'accentuaters'! Photography is my
passion and I've always gotten amazing feedback on my work. Believe
me though, I am my own worst critic, I have never created the
perfect photo in my eyes- I will always see ways to improve any
photo I take, so I am always very humble when praised.
I'm good at a lot of other things too like basketball, volleyball,
tennis, golf, bowling, eating pizza, eating cheeseburgers,
listening, psycho-analyzing, cuddling, debating, managing,
delegating, bargain shopping, designing....... the list could go on
but this section doesn't ask what I'm good at, it asks what I'm
really good at, and that is photography. (I'm actually
really good at bowling too, kind of scary good, like I could be a
pro good if I practiced every day instead of going once every 3
months or so)
Oh yeah, I almost forgot- I am GREAT at making fun of douche-bags
and the girls who love them. No short supply of that in Boston I've
found which is why I'm looking for dates on here rather than in the
bar. I'm not a fan of bars. I don't mind joining friends at bars
occasionally, I'm not anti-social, I just find I have better things
to do with my time and money. Why not a museum? Or a Gallery? Or a
show? I hate how everything revolves around alcohol.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Such a subliminally narcissistic question to have to answer, when
you think about it. That being said, many people over the years
have told me that I have kind eyes.

Calvin & Hobbes Forever. They got me through my
Books: I love to read, but when I read these days I want it to be a
complete fictional release for me. Sure I can drop names like
Plato, Aristotle, Descartes, Machiavelli, Nietzsche and so forth,
I've read their words and maybe I'm a better person for it, but no
better than what I've learned from Stephen King, Dean Koontz, L.
Ron Hubbard (and no, I am definitely not a Scientologist), Kurt
Vonnegut and John Grisham! These days I find myself reading mostly
Science Fiction. I am a huge technology buff and I feel that most
futuristic Science Fiction will become Science Fact someday and
it's fun to read about! I like the classics by Arthur C. Clarke,
Isaac Asimov, and Robert Heinlein, but I am addicted to
the Space Operas of Peter Hamilton right now! Also- anything
dealing with the metaphysical and quantum mechanics.
Movies: Yes. I love them. I am a movie buff too! I go to the
theatre matinees at least once a week and always by myself
(although I'm not opposed to company, I just don't have many
friends who are not doing the 9-5 thing). I like the temporary
escape and I love eating popcorn with loads of that fantastically
fake movie theatre butteroil!
As for my favorite movies? Here you go: What The Bleep Do We Know?
The Karate Kid. All Indiana Jones (put The Temple of Doom on mute
and i can perfectly recite the entire movie). Avatar. What Dreams
May Come. The Man in the Iron Mask (all of the Musketeer Movies for
that matter- I believe I was some incarnation of D'Artagnan in a
previous life). The Neverending Story. Most Superhero movies of the
last decade. Star Trek. Groove. Return to Oz. The Dark Crystal. The
Secret of NIMH. Cloud Atlas.
Shows: If I had cable you would most likely find me on one of these
channels: NatGeo, Science, SciFi, Discover, HGTV, HBO or Showtime.
I don't spend too much time in front of the TV but there are some
addicting shows out there. My favorites? Weeds. Dexter.
Californication. Game of Thrones. The Walking Dead. Celebrity
Apprentice. Survivor. Pittsburgh Steeler Football (yep).
Music: I enjoy a wide range of artists who are the best of their
genre. I don't particularly like rap (ok, Hip Hop) but there are
some brilliant rap artists out there and I appreciate what they
bring to the table. Same goes for country music and contemporary
pop. I mostly listen to downtempo melodic trancey stuff like Cafe
Del Mar, Thievery Corporation etc... Sometimes I feel like I am
stuck in a mid 90's progressive trance time warp- A direct result
of my life experiences at the time living with a Trance DJ and a
Stripper in Southern Florida and frequenting the rave scene in
Miami. Tiesto. Paul Van Dyk. George Acosta. Oakenfold. Digweed. Yes
yes yes yes yes! I also really like Simon & Garfunkel and most
singer/songwriters from the 60's and 70's.
Food: Bacon, pancetta, pork belly... I very much enjoy food. Good
Food. Bad Food. I like it all. From Waffle Houses to Michelin
rated. I'm always on the search for the perfect pizza too (Za, so
far) and the perfect cheeseburger (The Beehive? Craigie? It's
I've become pretty good at creating tasty slow-carb meals. Chickpea
flour has become my best friend in the kitchen to satisfy my always
abundant carb cravings! And then there's Bacon. Bacon just makes

Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My seriously overactive imagination.

Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What my 3rd tattoo will portray.
Why I have SUCH a weakness for redheads. All of them.
The 3 years I spent living and cruising through the Bahamas on a
sailboat with my parents when I was a kid, and how that period of
time shaped me and the course of the rest of my life.
How to be the best at what I do. Corny, I know, but true.

Why the number 3 and all its variations have played such a huge
roll in my life. You can easily say it is my favorite number.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Probably working, but I love my work! I like to drink occasionally,
but I don't like getting drunk. Happily buzzed works well enough
for me. I have more of a 420 mentality. On days off I'm usually out
and about with my camera on photo hikes, driving to somewhere I
haven't been before, or day-tripping it to NYC or Nantucket (there
are so many things I love and miss about that place).
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
One of my photographs was very recently published on the cover of
Time Magazine Digital, and I was told by the editor that it is one
of the most powerful covers he has ever seen. I really don't know
how I feel about that. It makes me sad, actually, bittersweet is a
better way to describe it.
Never met a parent that didn't love me. (I think) Can be
detrimental at times.
You should message me if
Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
I'm going to change this one up a bit. Here are the reasons you
should not message me:
If you get mad at me for eating bacon.
If you can't laugh at your own (and mine) ridiculousness.
If you expect me to like eggs.
If your dog can fit in a bag.
If in the 'Six things I could never do without' section you
responded with any of these: Air, water or sunlight. Really? How
un-original and boring can you be?
If any of your profile photos is of you in a yoga pose. (I'm not
opposed to yoga at all, just tired of seeing them all the time).
Also- Duck Face and fake tans need not apply.
If you work Monday through Friday 9-5. My schedule is pretty much
the opposite of that so i've found it difficult to have any success
dating someone with 'normal' hours.
If you are overly religious. I have a problem with religion in
general. I will respect your beliefs, but if you're in church more
than one day a week, swaying back and forth and raising your arms
in praise to your lord and savior, then I think you are bat-shit
crazy and you can click away from my profile RIGHT NOW.
If you are clearly obese, yet next to body-type you answered "a
little extra". You are clearly in denial. I don't discriminate when
it comes to women and their body types, I appreciate all shapes and
sizes, but you need to own it!
If you have ever, or will ever, as an adult, wear a tiara on your
head. No exceptions. Ok, I guess there can be some exceptions but
you better have a damn good excuse!
Actually, those are the only reasons you should not message me.
Otherwise message away!
