Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm a Chicago resident, been living here just over 10 years now.
Currently live in the Logan Square neighborhood. I am originally
from the northern Illinois suburbs, where my parents still live. I
went to both undergraduate and law school here in Chicago. I work
downtown at a small firm. My cases vary but I practice mainly real
estate and family law.
I like to be active and meet new people. Currently working a lot
but I'm looking forward to more of the spring thaw and the summer.
Warm weather really brings out the best in me since I grew up
partly in Japan and Hawaii before moving to Illinois as kid.
I really enjoy traveling when I have the opportunity. I have
traveled around Europe a bunch. Went backpacking in Europe for six
weeks a few years ago. My next destination is always on my mind.
Maybe somewhere more domestic. Any suggestions?
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
See above. Also, been doing swing dance classes off and on for over
a year now. They are a lot of fun! I have been making these a thing
and really would like to get some more dance partners if you are
ever interested in getting together.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
having crazy adventures? Getting lost is an art form, one in which
I seem to have unintentionally mastered.
Also making myself laugh whenever I want. Always important to
living a happy life in my book.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Boyish charm? Haha, I really don't know. I'd much rather hear what
you first notice about me than me guessing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books - Some of my favorite all-time books include Lord of the
Rings, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, Devil in the White City, and
World War Z. Recently reread the Game of Thrones books, in reverse.
I found it pretty illuminating. Currently just finished Girl with
the Dragon Tattoo and moving on with the series.
Movies - Way too many to name but let me throw some movies out
there. Braveheart, Inception, Pirates of the Carribean 1-3, Star
Wars Lord of the Rings, 500 days of Summer, Fifth Element,
Music - Mostly an alternative/rock kind of guy. I do have a real
affinity for oldies music (particularly 60's and 80's). I also have
been on a jazz/swing music kick.
TV shows - LOST is my all-time favorite show (well...season 1-4
anyways). Current favorite might be Downton Abbey. I have been
really enjoying Sherlock recently too. The last few years others
have included: Firefly, Community, 30 Rock, Breaking Bad, Mad Men,
Archer, Arrow, Castle, House of Cards, Cosmos, and Orange is the
Food - I'm pretty open to most types of food. Indian food is my
favorite of any type of "ethnic" category. I have...kind of a sweet
tooth as well. Like ice cream and I are pretty close friends.
...except I eat ice cream so I suppose that's a weird thing to say.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Access to knowledge
What a silly question!
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
how I can learn and grow. I am thinking about investing in an
intensive Spanish class in the next few months.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Hanging out with friends. My family lives in the northern suburbs
so not uncommon I'm out there for part of a weekend sometimes.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Is it really private if I make it public here? I feel
philosophically perplexed by the wording of this question.

You are actually interested in physically meeting someone. I
understand it is difficult to open yourself to it as there are a
lot of creepers and less than stand up gentlemen on this site.
However, I don't think your OkCupid experience is going to work out
too well if you are not open to meeting someone physically through
