I moved to Chicago (West Loop) about 3 years ago and I love all the different things to do in the city, it is a great fit with my personality.

I can be very spontaneous; I enjoy planning last minute trips (Las Vegas, Wisconsin or anywhere warm; Key West & California past 2 months).

On a Friday or Saturday night, I like going to live music/concerts (16 Candles or music venues like City Winery) or going dancing on a date is also a lot of fun. On Sunday evening's, I really enjoy having a glass of wine while cooking dinner together with a significant other and then settling in to watch a favorite Sunday night show (Dexter, Homeland, MadMen,etc).

I work as a stock analyst and really love going to work every day, which I think is unusual so I feel very lucky about that. I come from a large family (1 of 10 kids), which makes the holidays great! My older sister is one of my best friends.

What I am looking for? Someone who is smart, open minded and who has a healthy curiosity of life. I think there are so many amazing things to do, try and discover in this life, so I am looking for someone who has the same passion for new things in life. There is nothing better than great chemistry with someone special. Importantly, I am looking for a serious relationship and not just to date around aimlessly.

Trying new things is something I love pursuing. New or unique restaurants/bars is something I truly enjoy; (I subscribe to TimeOut Chicago or search Metromix to find new places to go). I often attend various social/charity events around town (Imerman Angles, Eve of Eve, Akira). I won 20 hours of sailing lessons from the Lincoln Park Zoo-ologie charity auction last summer that I will begin to take next Spring so I am excited about that! I recently bought a piano to start playing again after a 15 year hiatus.
