I'm an ambitious and laid back guy with a sarcastic sense of humor. I'm passionate, honest, straightforward, a good listener. I did 3 different sports in college, one for four years and two for two each (bet you won't guess which ones). I'm a bit of a nerd and know a lot about computers and the tech industry.

Originally from the northeast, moved to Denver for the mountains, and then started a long-term project in DC for my job. I'm in DC every week and sometimes fly home for the weekend (unless I want to stay). I basically live in a Marriott (haha, but seriously) and I'm all about the metro since my car is 1500 miles away. Might move here permanently soon.

Skiing, going to concerts, hiking, swimming, running, grilling, reading, cooking, watching stuff, having deep intellectual conversations and just about anything else that will keep me active or engaged. I like to stay in and relax as much as I like going out to do stuff. I'm interested in a lot of topics and am a genuinely curious guy.

Currently working as an IT consultant. Working to live (work hard play hard). Consulting has been a nice change from engineering; you'd never guess but it turns out that most computer engineers are not very social.

Moving my arms in circles thousands of times per day. Falling down mountains with a couple slabs of wood strapped to my feet. Anything with computers/electronics. Thinking intensely about my problems until I fix them.

Currently reading an interesting book about the psychology of habit formation. Game of Thrones is next on my list. Other recent reads are Shutter Island, Crime and Punishment (didn't read when I was supposed to in HS, typical), and the final book of WoT (RIP RJ).

I like most movies, comedy is best followed by action/adventure.

Shows: Game of Thrones (current favorite), Breaking Bad (can't wait for the last few episodes), Futurama, Family Guy, The Daily Show, Workaholics, House of Cards, Arrested Development

Music: Recently been on an alt kick (lumineers, fitz and the tantrums, kings of convenience, two door cinema club, the naked and famous, Awolnation) and also like electronic, some hip hop, classical, rock

Food: Everything. Sushi, pho, and Mexican are favorites.

I've got an active mind. Recently been thinking about what career goals I may have for a few years down the line. I think a lot about the strategies at play between all of the tech giants--there is a major battle unfolding right now and it is fascinating.

Out at a bar or brewery, kickin' it at home with some Netflix, on my way to the mountain for skiing or camping, getting home from a business trip, <-enter random activity here->

You have a good sense of humor and some depth to your personality. You know how to take care of your health. I like a mix of intellect, humor, and athleticism.
