I am star stuff, like you, and everything.
I'm sensitive, bold, strong and fragile, funny, dorky, sometimes cool and composed, silly, both neat and messy, graceful and awkward.
But wait! Before you go any further, think about our match percentage and the number of match questions you've answered compared to me. Why? Apparently, they are what the whole "percent match" thing is based on. Sure, it may be a bit tedious. But I've answered a bunch... Anyway...
I'm one of those weird mish-moshes of people with somewhat paradoxical interests and habits.
Ex. 1: I LOVE science, almost any subject. But my math skills are so unrefined, it's just sad watching me try to convert a fraction to a decimal or do and explain a T-test.
Ex. 2: I Can totally spend all day inside watching movies or playing video games with total giddiness. But I love nature so much that I could just as easily hike, lie around in a field, or bike, outside all day.
Ex. 3: I'm highly logical in some ways while vastly emotional in others.
I LOVE to learn. So whether it be institutional or self-motivated, the acquisition of education and/or knowledge is very important to me. Life is a journey that makes the most sense to me if I am learning all that I can along the way.
I LOVE nature (open definition); the life, the existence, the dynamics and repetition are just soul-lifting and inspirational. "The cosmos is also within us. We are made of star stuff. We are a way that the cosmos can know itself." - Carl Sagan Cosmos
I LOVE food, and cheese, and beer, and wine, (but am seriously not all-knowing)
I am a vegetarian/pescatarian (sp?)
I am pro-choice, environmentalist, conservationist, socially-lefty leaning, agnostic/atheistic and generally against most aspects of organized religion. I'm pissed off at neoliberalism, free-trade and deregulation for its vacuous effect on workers, the environment and those who don't benefit from the profits made off of these practices. But I also know that fairly traded, more humanely produced products are more expensive and when you're a regular working person, budgets are more important than politics -even if the prices are set that way to maintain the status quo, which is whaaaaack!
I think most people are a lot more caring and smart than they let on, and they sometimes either choose to remain/become insensitive and ignorant, or they buy into the increasingly dominant status quo of society: Agreeing to be dumbed down through the media and elsewhere to become superficial, material, shallow and not curious at all, is great... Um, to that, I say NO!! I think if people watch "Contact" or "Cosmos", more people might realize how special and unique it is that we exist at all, and they/we would use our lives for something more meaningful to ourselves and potentially others.
*Note: If you are looking only for casual sex, you better move along "buddaaay", "I'm not your budday, friend", "I'm not your friend, guy", "I'm not your guy, budday"... because you will be sorely disappointed. (ah, south park)
I am here because I actually want to find people that I would enjoy hanging out with, having fun with, interacting on a level that is deeper and more meaningful.
