I'm happiest when I'm learning new things, or playing outside – so
my job as an
environmental scientist is a pretty good fit. I
enjoy
traveling
(have visited some of Europe and Asia), but am always glad to come
home.
Outdoors,
you might find me in
hiking boots leafing through a Peterson
Field Guide, crazycarpeting down a snowhill, or swathing myself in
neoprene and strapping 18lbs of lead around my waist (it's not a
kink; I'm a
diver!).
At home, you might find me curled up with a good
book (drinking
tea), knitting up a storm while watching BBC
sitcoms (sipping tea), or puttering in the kitchen (slurping tea).

I don't think I have met a cuisine that I haven't enjoyed and I am
always up to trying something new!
Tea. Books. Sunshine. Green growing things. Hot shower. Comfortable
dry footwear.
You are intelligent, enjoy good conversation, and can hold your own
in a pun war of epic proportions. You are generally upbeat and
positive, and can laugh, gently, at life’s absurdities. It would
also help if you had a
Monty Python and/or
Blackadder box set, but
I suppose we could make do with a DVD of
Life of Brian.
