My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I love science and critical thinking(Carl Sagan is my hero). I'm a former ballroom dance instructor who is currently pursuing a degree in biology so that I can teach it in high school (for the money and fame of course). I'm a very easy going person and enjoy life whenever I can.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I am going to school to be a science teacher and I also work at the Bank of America/Merrill Lynch call center.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Science, ballroom dance, hanging out with my friends, and apparently storytelling.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My beard and my winning, outgoing personality. After a few minutes of conversation they usually notice my voice. I have a good voice from what I've been told.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
the Lord of the Rings(books and movies), Ender Series of books, Richard Dawkins' the god Delusion and the Ancestor's Tale, Pretty much everything by Carl Sagan, Family guy, How I Met your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, Vikings, Game of Thrones, New Girl, Masters of Sex, A lot of the Programming on the science channel. As far as music, mostly rock, but I'm also into salsa and pretty much anything you can ballroom dance to.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Science
2. Oxygen
3. Carbohydrates
4. Water
5. Good Friends
6. Hummus(mmmmmm, how did I ever live before I discovered you hummus?)
7. Special Bonus Round: Sriracha sauce! I put it on everything.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
This is a hard question to answer, all I do is think. I often think about science and how incredible it is that I'm on the surface of a ball that's orbiting a nuclear furnace which is so large that I have a hard time imagining it. Or that galaxy we inhabit is one of billions of billions of billions of galaxies in a universe that contains more stars than there are grains of sand on all the beaches in all the world. I also think about philosophy and the nature of things.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
hanging out with my friends or going out to a movie or to a club where they have a dance floor and play something I can actually use my ballroom stuff to.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I've been hurt worse and more deeply than I ever thought that I could be hurt. I still believe in monogamy(I understand that not everyone is monogamous, but it's my natural inclination), but I'm more cautious now than I used to be.

Offer a few tips to help matches win you over.
If you like beards

If you are a devoutly religious person we might not get along.

If you like smart guys with a sense of humor and the confidence to do something with it.

Especially if you like a guy who's good at telling stories.

And if you're not too old fashioned to be the one to make the first move (it's the 2010s you're allowed to contact a guy first).
