My self-summary
I kind of feel like this is "What I Did on My Summer Vacation" all over again. Hmm well let's see, at Jekyll Island I grew incredibly fond of baby sea turtles ... and far less so of outrunning alligators.

I recently received my associate's degree in library science and I'm working on my master's degree. I hope to work as a librarian in a public library when I finish.

I enjoy being a literary groupie, though I did find Margaret Atwood decidedly smug, but on the flip side Chuck Palahniuk charmed the hell out of me! I also enjoy name dropping so try to keep up.

I love indie movies, festivals, improv, cooking, and art.

I am nerdy, artistic, and funny.
What I’m doing with my life
Working at a small organic health food market and getting my master's degree in library science. I'm also reading Games of Thrones, which is very addictive. And trying to live each day to the fullest when not at work or school.
I’m really good at
Movie and literature trivia. I kick ass on those two in Trivial Pursuit.
The first things people usually notice about me
My kind demeanor... but little do they know that on Halloween I turn into a beauty queen zombie. :)
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Books - Anything by Ray Bradbury, Kurt Vonnegut, David Sedaris, Chuck Palahniuk or Margaret Atwood. I also like Phillip Roth and John Updike. I'm also becoming a fan of George R.R. Martin.

Some of my favorites are American Psycho, What Dreams May Come, the Harry Potter series, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, Snuff, the Life in Hell series, Fool by Christopher Moore, Fast Food Nation and Running with Scissors. I am also a huge science fiction nerd but have a pretty electic taste, in that I'm willing to give almost anything a try if it looks interesting.

Movies - Stranger than Fiction, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Shawshank Redemption, Amazing Stories, A Fish Called Wanda, Pulp Fiction, Secretary, cheesy horror movies, Dirty Rotten Scroundels, The Matrix, Napoleon Dynamite, Rushmore, Almost Famous, Dodgeball, The Hangover, Burn after Reading, Little Children, This is Spinal Tap, Ghost World, Welcome to the Dollhouse, and Memento.

T.V. - Californication, Futurama, Simpsons, Family Guy, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Law and Order, and House.

Music - R.E.M., almost all 80s music, B-52s, Tori Amos, Weezer, U2, Beatles, Tom Waits, Gin Blossoms, Smashing Pumpkins, White Stripes, Cyndi Lauper, Everclear, Counting Crowes, Soundgarden, Duran Duran, Foo Fighters, Collective Soul, Offspring, Dave Matthews Band, Beastie Boys and Billy Idol.

Food - Indian, tiramisu, chocolate, blondies, good chinese food and pasta. Italian is definitely my favorite.

I spend a lot of time thinking about
"If death meant just leaving the stage long enough to change costume and come back as a new character... would you slow down? Or speed up?" --Chuck Palahniuk

Kicking back with friends, whether it's at a coffee shop or a bar, having a good conversation.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
