My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
My name is Jordan, I'm a senior at CWU studying theatre. I am/have been *deep breath* an actor, a singer, a composer, a writer, a poet, a basketball player, a football player, a rugby player, a mixed martial artist, a ballroom dancer, a swing dancer, a weapons performer, a gamer, a D&D nerd, a band nerd, a choir nerd, a theatre nerd, that guy that never wears a shirt, a cook, a dreamer, and recently model, and even more recently composer. *catches breath* Now it may sound improbable that I do all that, and of course, there's more, but hey, you can always ask me, and I'll show you. I am also on CWU's improv team Sharks With Legs. Some people call me insane, some people call me amazing, honestly, I don't have a clue what I am. Eventually as a performer, I guess I am what my audiences say I am. Unless they say I'm fake, because that's just ridiculous. All I really know about this life of mine is that I want to be onstage, I want to perform, and I want to entertain. As of late I've been so busy with my theatre classes and trying to get my name out into the world as a singer that I haven't really had time to go out and meet people. If you like to laugh and dance and have a good time, I'm your man.

*new nonsense*
I don't know why I didn't mention this before, but I like to stupid things with fun people, a lot... and really really stupid things sometimes, but with people that are fun it doesn't matter how dumb what you're doing is, you're going to enjoy it. At least, that's how I look at it. I'd rather regret something not going as well as I wanted, than regret not doing something at all.

*even newer nonsense*
Every single day I do what I love most in life, sing/act/write, I'm surrounded by people I love, I love myself, and I'm just all around happy.
Haters, you can start hating on me now.

*The newest of nonsense*
I have fallen in love with setting up stage lighting, and lights in general. Thus, my house will slowly become a constant light show. Also, I've been able to work out more than the past, which is awesome, because it means I get to feel more attractive.

*yay more updates*
I just got cast in my first professional stage show. And it's a Shakespeare, crazy right? Maybe I am good at this.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm currently studying to be a professional actor as well as working independently on my next Hip-Hop album, that I just recently released. I'm just trying to figure out all this nonsense called life, and I'm doing it through my music.

*more new nonsense*
I'm teaching myself how to play guitar.

*even newer nonsense*
Recently approached by a promoter in my area about working together to make shows happen. Big things for me on the horizon.

*yep updates*
I'm getting really good at mixing drinks and throwing parties that feel more like concerts.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
being spontaneous and going with the flow. I blame that on my Improv background. I can say I'm also really good at anything musical, and just being there and being present with someone. I've been told I'm also very good at being warm and giving great hugs, but that I can't really judge for myself so i don't really know if it's true.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I love to sing.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

For Music, Usher and Ne-Yo. Definitely Nicki Minaj. Shameless plug for my own music J.M.Dubs. and then Talib Kweli. But beyond rap and hip hop I also like Electronica, Dubstep, Rock, Metal, and Death Metal, and I'm even starting to like country a little bit.

As far as books go, as an actor I'm more into plays than "real books", so Shakespeare, just all of it, especially Hamlet because I was in it once and The Merchant of Venice because it's just really good.

My favorite non-Shakespeare play right now is August Wilson's play "Fences". Another of my favorites is David Mammet's "Sexual Perversity in Chicago".

My favorite musical is "In the Heights" followed closely by "Les Misérables".

As for movies, I just enjoy anything with a good story (so yes, I will watch "chick flicks") and I love me some Disney, have me watch Beauty and the Beast or Princess and the Frog, and I'll still cry occasionally.

With foods, I'm your average guy so I'll eat just about anything, except peanuts, because they kind of, ya know, kill me.

And if you were so intrigued by me saying that I make music, http://www.reverbnation.com/store/artist_1473824 go here, buy a CD or shirt or something.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Music
2. My Computer
3. People to spend time with
4. Something to write songs on
5. Food
6. A working kitchen (yeah I cook)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
My music, my acting, and who I am. I also keep thinking about what it means to be a gentleman in this day and age.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Having a good time with my friends, or sitting behind my computer writing music.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Most Disney movies make me cry.

You even remotely want to talk to me at all. Honestly, at all, I'm a nice person, I don't bite, that is unless you want me to ;). I mean really, just say hi, I need people to distract me from all the work I'm doing.
