I am kind, loyal, honest, fun loving, with a laid back demeanor. I'm typically very active. I love riding my bike. It makes me feel free and alive. That probably sounds lame, but it's true. I also picked up a kayak this year. Getting out on the water has been fantastic. I've been playing ice hockey in a pick up league. It's a great workout and a good stress reliever. I tried a cyclocross race in the heat a few weeks back. That was kind of rough. Frisbee golf is always a fun reason to go take a walk in the woods. Tennis anyone? Anyway, I think you get the point. So, when I'm not at work or squeezing in an afterwork ride or something, I'm usually catching up with some friends for dinner, or hanging out with my brother and my niece and nephew.
What's usually rattling through my head on a long bike ride? Good question. Family, friends, work, dinner options, boats, nature along the path, the car that just pulled out in front of me that I almost superman-ed over the hood of. You know, standard stuff.
I am hoping to find someone that is my companion and friend. Someone that is family and friend oriented, patient, gentle, warm, open, and honest. Someone that supports me and challenges me both. Hopefully, someone that has enough get up and go to enjoy a Saturday morning breakfast and coffee, go for a bike ride in the early afternoon, meet up with some people for a grill out for dinner, then decide if we are going check out that band that is passing through at The Met that evening, head over to a friends for a few beers around a fire, or just head home for a movie. See...now that sounds like a relatively action packed Saturday. If you've made it this far and that sounds sort of fun, please read on.
What I’m doing with my life
Currently, I design toys for kids. It's nice to think maybe I help bring joy to children. I used to design bicycle components and accessories. Perhaps I brought some joy to adults too. Who knows? I feel like I'm rambling about nothing. Does anyone else out there not really enjoy talking about themselves...?

Not a lot of time thinking about...but some time thinking...that if you have kissy face profile pict or a booty shot profile pict...you're probably not the girl for me...
On a typical Friday night I am
Out with friends to dinner, grabbing a few beers, having some laughs. Otherwise, enjoying a movie night in.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I'm a sucker for romantic comedies. It might sound lame, but man, I just can't handle gruesome life drama stuff all the time. I feel as though I am bombarded by terror and atrocities every time I turn on a news program, or a daytime tv show, or a prime time tv show. It's a complete oddity of realtime horrors. Let me watch any fantasy or sci fi program to transport myself to any fictitious place for even a few hours to get me away from the realities of our mainstream thirst for pain, brutality, and gore. OR, just put on a rom com so that I can laugh along with a gentler side of reality and life. Anything is better than the constant IV drip of shock and awe programming that saturates today's media. Alright, clear the way, I'm jumping down from the soap box...
You should message me if
