Well, what to say. Honestly, I don't think I've ever really given
myself all that much thought of who exactly I am, I mean if you
want to know who I am wouldn't it be more fun to find out together?
I always thought that the discovering of another person was
exciting and was like solving bits of a mystery, Once that mystery
is solved for you, where do you go from there? I'm sure there is a
place to move on to, but..I'm rambling, I tend to do that
sometimes...Anyways, I don't like to pretend to be someone I'm not,
if what i say, being the truth, is not what you might want to hear,
then its better known from the start than later on when it might
actually hurt right? Lies have gotten me in trouble before in the
past, and I wish to never repeat the same mistakes again. So, their
is a little information about me...hmm, what else, well other than
some physical details which are already there, I'm kind of a shy
guy, a bit of a nerd, with many different kinds of interests. OK, I
guess that enough rambling for now on that!
What I’m doing with my life
currently have returned to school for my Master's degree in
security and global studies, focusing on homeland security.
I’m really good at
I am quite good at baseball, played the game my whole life, it is
my favorite sport after all. Let's see, what else, I suppose I'm
really good at very random and meaningless facts.
The first things people usually notice about me
umm...my height, my shoulders, and my eyes, but I'm not an expert
on this since I've never asked anyone what they notice, I'll have
to ask and get back to you with that.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
I'm open to all music, but I love country music. My favorite book
series for longest time now has been the Wheel of Time by Robert
Jordan (I'm a sucker for fantasy novels); I also love the book The
Giver. favorite food..don't have one, I really enjoy all kinds.
Movies: wow, that list might be too big to put down, but I love
movies, and watch a lot, except for horror movies, no way will I
ever watch horror, I can not stand them at all! And lastly Shows:
I'll say that at this moment the shows I like that I'm watching are
White Collar, Warehouse 13, Alphas, and whenever Being Human comes
back on I'll be on that as well.
The six things I could never do without
six? I'm sure if more than that was taken away I would have a
different list or a much bigger list, but at this moment I would
say, God, car, running water, books, computer, family.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
my ten year plan for myself, and where I want to be, so thoughts on
goal setting, my position in life, things along that nature, but
also the flip side, where I don't think too often on anything too
much and allow for bliss and having my choice of ice cream flavor
be the hardest thoughts of the day.
On a typical Friday night I am
Well call me an old man, but on a typical Friday night I like to
either stay in, and play games with friends and family, watch
movies, or just enjoy each others company. Maybe an outing to a
small dive bar, ones that don't really get crowded that few know
about. I like to do things not on Friday nights, because of the
sheer amount of people that go out feeling like they are obligated
to do so, so why can't my Wednesday night be my Friday night? or my
Monday night? Besides, doing it this way, there are less people to
have to shout over, a more laid back atmosphere, and I find myself
able to enjoy myself more, but that's just me.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
We'll have to talk before you find this out. It kinda defeats the
purpose of being private if it's posted for all to see, right?
You should message me if
you just want someone to talk to, I'm open to any conversation for
any reason. Give it a whirl and see what happens. Besides, how else
are you going to get to know someone if you don't say anything.
