My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm an ENTP, but it's flexible.

-Sometimes I like to run around barefoot in the rain.
-Sometimes I like to bike in hailstorms.
-I used to be able to back-flip on the ground, but it's been a couple years I've tried this.
-I've played a ninja on TV.

I have been characterized as "geeky/indie/political/progressive". I ride my bike everywhere and I'm contemplating selling my car because it just sits alone and sad in my driveway.

I've just recently come to realize that "awesome," "super cool," and "!" are common occurrences in my vernacular.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Right right now, I'm on vacation with my family. First time in Europe! It's also a great way to add to my visa count. I'll be back in Colorado in August!

I'm finishing up a master's program in Environmental and Sustainability Engineering. After that, onwards to a PhD!

Aside from classwork and research, I run a student org (Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW)) on campus. I'm a member of ESW's national team as the liaison for chapters in The West. I probably spend more time volunteering at ESW than I do on my grad program.

I also burn time by going on moderately long biking trips and rock climbing.

My goal this summer: bike 1000 miles while dealing with a thesis and 7 weeks of non-bikeable vacation. Already 75% there!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
1. Getting way over my head in deep discussions.
2. Scrabble (and apparently Bananagrams)
3. Parenthetical asides
4. French Toast
5. Lists
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
That I'm Asian? Actually once I get to talking, people tend to notice that I'm pretty good-natured and quite nerdy, usually in that order.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I like a lot of things and I'm not snobby about most stuff, except for Vietnamese and Chinese food since I get the real stuff at home. Also, I've just gotten into a major acapella kick which isn't helped by the fact that I've just discovered Spotify.

An abridged list of media I love right now:

Modern Family
The New Girl
World War Z (book, not the movie)
Acapella music
Pop music (mostly the danceable portion)
The Omnivore's Dilemma
Game of Thrones
Terminator (1, 2, and the TV show)
Planet Money
The Moth
This American Life
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1. Friends
2. Intelligent conversation
3. Purpose
4. My Bike
5. The Internet
6. Something to listen to
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can change the world. There might have been just a few hints here and there throughout this profile, but I'm sort of "environmentally conscious" and my goal is to engineer a sustainable world.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Out and about in the city, but the event varies. Alcohol is usually involved to some degree.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My secret to karaoking is to pick a song that everyone sings to, thereby drowning out my voice. The Backstreet Boys generally serves this function well.

you're intrigued by anything you've read and an interesting question pops up. It doesn't even have to pertain to me, such as "What does purple taste like?" or "Could God make a doughnut so big even He couldn't eat it?"
