I am a Libertarian, a Vegetarian, and a wannabe Buddhist.
My Self-Summary
Myers-Briggs pegs me as an INTJ. That is pretty much spot on and
the generic description can be found here:
http://typelogic.com/intj.html.
I work in Libertyville and just moved to Mundelein.
I value honesty, openness and understanding the world around
me.
One of hobbies is playing chess.
I have a bet with my brother to see who can visit all 50 states
first. I'm currently at 31.
What I’m doing with my life
I have a master's degree in applied economics and have a pretty
sweet job as an executive compensation analyst (i.e., i work with
excel all day).
Still trying to figure out what i want to accomplish in life. You
know, besides rocking standardized tests and all. :)
I’m really good at
anything analytical, sarcasm, planning, listening
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
A couple of things that come to mind in each category:
books: the glass castle, the paradox of choice, stumbling on
happiness, anything by peter drucker
movies: the great debaters, eurotrip, old school, shawshank
redemption, primary colors
music: what ever is on the radio. some things that frequently pop
up on my pandora: no doubt, fort minor, red hot chili peppers,
eminem, cake, pink
food: i have been doing the vegetarian thing recently. though not
the super healthy version. im trying to do more raw food (e.g., not
processed, not cooked) in order to be healthier and have more
energy.
The six things I could never do without
one of the main teachings of buddhism is non-attachment but ill go
for it anyway.
information, family + friends, intelligent conversation, caffeine,
learning, contemplation
I spend a lot of time thinking about
-Potential career paths
-Non-conventional living
-Why I decided to move back to Illinois (read: cold weather) from
Florida
-How I got the more aggressive personality trait badge from this
site
On a typical Friday night I am
who has typical friday nights?
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
the ultimate catch-22. what is something that is perceived as
private but i am willing to make very public?
im going with nothing. i am an open book for those i know, just not
for the entire internet.
You should message me if
you want to (I've found doing things you want to do often leads to
happiness).
That probably wasn't all that helpful, so here are some criteria
that would interest me:
-you want to each me something or have an in depth conversation on
a topic(s)
-your answer to a typical friday night was not at the bar/ getting
hammered (drinking can be fun on occasion, not so much when it is
your only activity outside work)
-you think you can expose me to positive randomness
-you have an entrepreneurial venture you think i should join
