My self-summary

Comic book fan, sci-fi geek, movie nerd, GVSU alumnus, one-time wedding minister, and full-time ginger.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I graduated from Grand Valley State University with my Bachelors about little while ago. Due to a lack of success of finding full time employment so far, I recently moved back to Detroit to ponder my next move. I'm working two jobs at the moment: a retail security guard job (which is boring) and in the promotions department of a comic book store (which is really only me and my boss, but is a really fun job).
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
I'm a movie buff: there's an excellent chance I know that guy from that thing and can name three other things he was in. I'm also a major comic book fan and serve as a comics concierge service to friends looking for something good to read.

I also got great reviews when I performed my friend's wedding.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
The fact that I'm a redhead. I'm also a loud talker, due to having a hearing impaired parent.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Movies: When I can afford it, I go out to the movie theater once or twice a week. My particular favorites are Tarantino movies and just about anything science fiction or comic bookrelated, but I'm up to watch anything at least once.

Shows: Doctor Who, Arrow, The Blacklist, Elementary, and literally anything Joss Whedon has created. And, uh, Power Rangers: Dino Charge.

Music: Wide and varied. Prince & The Revolution, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith, Will Smith, Lady Gaga, The Who...kind of all over the map.

Food: Popcorn. Hot, peanut-buttery waffles.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
1) My family: my dad, sister, and I have been incredibly close since my mom died and I can't imagine ever falling out with them.
2) My friends: I've not always been the best at maintaining relationships with friends, the ones I have now changed that.
3) Comic books: I have one vice in this life, and it these.
4) The internet: Comics, books, movies, everything I need to avoid getting too deep into my own head.
5) A car. This is Detroit.
6) Food, oxygen, etc.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Comic books, politics, science, and my future.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
At home, watching a movie.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My mother passed away when I was 13. I'm about as over it as I can be by this point, but you're never really "over it" entirely.
