I am motivated, adventurous, and passionate.

My Self-Summary

I am a 19 year old college student that wants to experience everything life has to offer and then some. I seek adventure and outdoors and travel. I love reading and music and learning about everything I can. Other cultures and languages and history are my favorite things to learn about. I am passionate about the things that I love and care about. I want to surround myself with people that are self-motivated and want to get everything out of life that they can. I try my hardest to be good to the environment, being "green". I recycle everything I can and buy everything organic I can afford on my meager college budget. I don't consider myself a tree-hugger. Nor should you. If you feel like throwing away everything, I'm not going to dig it out of the trash can and put it in my purse to recycle later. I'm really not that crazy.

Yes, I'm a college cheerleader. Please don't stereotype. I was a gymnast for 8 years and I'm in my 6th year of competitive cheer. I work out 6 days a week and I absolutely love it. It's a real sport and I'm constantly injured and no I don't cheer on the side lines for other sports because that's fucking stupid.

My roommates and I have 2 pet rats. Well we had 2. I love them. Scout is crawling all over me while I'm typing this. Unfortunately, our naked rat Burrito passed away recently. We miss him but we're getting 2 new rats very soon :) I really want a sugar glider!! And hopefully I'll get a lab or retriever or some sort in the next year.

In relationships, I don't like clingy. You have to be able to make yourself happy and not just rely on your significant other to do so. However, I have a really busy schedule but I will always make time to spend time with a person that I really care about. We can stay up all night and eat pizza and watch movies and drink beer, we can go camping all weekend, and we can just talk for hours. I'm a very sexual person, but don't get excited, because I don't do the whole randomly sleeping with people thing. The lucky guy is definitely going to be in a relationship with just me before that happens. I'm not afraid of intimacy and don't worry, I'm not carrying extra baggage from relationships past.

I've been doing the whole dating casually thing for a while, but haven't really met anyone that I wanted to go out with again. I'm looking for whatever: friends, someone to casually date, someone looking for long-term, someone who just wants someone to go hiking or camping with. I'm flexible (in both ways). I like guys that are confident but not cocky and have something going for them. No offense, but if you don't workout and take care of your body, I'm not interested. You won't get a message back. Sarcastic assholes that can also be sweet and romantic are a huge plus. And hopefully you're familiar with the word compromise, because I think that's key when you're trying to make it work with someone.

What I’m doing with my life

I'm a full-time college student at Kennesaw State and I'm also on KSU's competition cheerleading squad. School and cheerleading pretty much consumes my life. I also work for my mom's networking company, clean houses, and babysit when I have time. Busy as I am, I manage to find time for some awesome shows, camping, and road trips to visit friends.

I’m really good at

Being nocturnal. Functioning on little to no sleep. Tumbling. Finding my way into the center of the mosh pit. Funneling beer!! Making fantastic guacamole yet not knowing how to make anything else. And surviving on little else than Cheez-Its because they are so good and I don't feel like eating anything else sometimes, so I just eat them all day for all of my meals.

The first things people usually notice about me

I have very long eyelashes. And I'm only 5 feet tall and I buy my shoes in the kids' section! And yes, my last name is Irish (If you knew what my last name was, it would be a stupid question to ask whether it was Irish or not). And probably my lip ring. My camera broke so no I don't have pictures of that yet.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Music: My favorite band ever is Kings of Leon. Not since they got popular, I mean when they started and they had long hair and beards. Radiohead, Tom Vek, Lily Allen, The Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Jimmy Eat World, LoveDrug, Death Cab, Chevelle, Keane, Eisley, At the Drive In, Cold War Kids, Rilo Kiley, Depeche Mode, Mars Volta, Tears for Fears, Led Zepplin, Ray LaMontagne, Band of Horses, Conor Oberst, Damien Rice, Tegan and Sara, Foo Fighters, Metric, Nouvelle Vague, Lenka, Andrew Bird, Marjorie Fair, Mystery Jets, Stereophonics, The Hush Sound, Devendra Banhart, The Shins, The Cardigans, No Doubt, Belle and Sebastian, Mute Math.

I'm a cheap date when it comes to food. Most meat freaks me out, so I pretty much stick to chicken. But for some reason, if we're at a restaurant, I will not be the one ordering a steak, but if we go through the drive-thru at Taco Bell, you bet I'm getting a Crunchwrap Supreme with beef. That makes no sense but I don't care that's what I like. And seafood really freaks me out. I pretty much like eating the same things all the time- peanut butter and jelly, cereal, mac and cheese, and lots of fruit.

Books: I like to keep my Encyclopedia of Serial Killers and the Zombie Survival Guide available for quick reference. I really like death and serial killers and murder. Ask me questions because I know a lot about it. My very favorite book of all time is The Lovely Bones, but Jane Eyre is a close second. I also really liked The Perks of Being a Wallflower, The Glass Castle, all of the classics such as Frankenstein, Dracula, The Crucible, Lord of the Flies,The Great Gatsby, and fascinating books like Malcolm Gladwell's The Tipping Point and also Freakanomics. I like reading about Andy Warhol and Edie Sedgwick.Ok, you got me. I liked the Twilight series. Can't help it. Get over it!

Movies: Dances with Wolves, American Beauty, The Hangover, Dodgeball- I've probably seen this more than any other movie and it's still makes me laugh, Factory Girl, Fight Club, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Ferris Buehler's Day Off, Forrest Gump, just to name a few...

TV Shows: Dexter, Freaks and Geeks, Chelsea Lately, Survivor, Grey's Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, anything on the History channel, and I love all decorating shows on HGTV and TLC. And I guess I should probably admit that I like One Tree Hill and Gossip Girl. Everyone needs a guilty pleasure right?!?!

The six things I could never do without

1. Burt's Bees Chapstick
2. My memory foam bed
3. iPod
4. Pbjs
5. Cheez-its
6. Water and good beer (those are equally as important as the other)

I spend a lot of time thinking about

How I'm going to make my audition tape for Survivor and who's going to help me with it. What kind of new furniture I should buy for my bedroom that I will still like in a few years. How I'm going to push myself to work hard and finish college and work and make decent money and learn how to save it. If I can remember everything from The Zombie Survival Guide in case zombies take over the earth. What country I should live in. What kind of "green" house I'll build for myself and how I can have an orchard, a farm, and a lake and completely rely on that to live.

On a typical Friday night I am

Recovering from the night before until lunch. Then whatever the night brings. I'm up for anything.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

I walk around my apartment with frozen peas and corn rubberbanded around my ankles daily- I have ankle issues. They really work better than ice packs.

You should message me if

....you have charisma and you're spontaneous and open-minded and adventurous and want to join me outdoors or share my passion for music and being environmentally conscious and trying everything once just to experience it and you read this like a stream of consciousness because it is then we might just enjoy each others company.
