I am a little crazy, outspoken, and opinionated.

My Self-Summary

Although not all inclusive or very well defining, I am an honest, open, polyfi, sarcastic, hippy, stoner, pagan-ish, philosopher, dreamer and builder. I love all people, although at best, I only tolerate sheep and ostrich's.

I'm in a relationship with a wonderful woman _Kalypso_. Our relationship is based on poly-fidelity and as such we are open to the right woman joining us.

I value true friendships above most everything else in the world, and as such, avoid fakers and game players like they have the plague.

I am an extremely avid reader... books have been with me since I was child... computers since I was 8 or 9. I consider the internet to be the single greatest invention we have ever made. The idea that we can communicate in an almost instantaneous conversation across the world as individuals will do more to bring people together then any other thing in the history of mankind.

I fully support the legalization of weed, and the regulation of it based on the way alcohol is handled, including cultivation for personal use. I smoke it, I eat it, I talk about it, and I encourage its use for almost any medical condition. I would rather see people smoking pot then drinking alcohol ,taking pills or other synth-chems. If you are pro pot, but chose Never to drugs as a statement about their legality, or to hide your use, you should be aware that it means I likely won't even look at your profile past that, so you should message me if you want to talk.

That isn't to say I don't hang around or talk to people unless they use pot, but in terms of a relationship I see no point in pursuing something that will cause stress.

I have a daughter with an ex partner, whom I still get along with well. She has custody of her, although she (my daughter) comes to stay as often as possible. She is my main source of joy and pride in life. Her name is Rowan. The name has many different meanings and possible sources. For me, it came from a book of the same name, the woman in the book was a very strong independent, intelligent woman with telepathic powers. The fact that there are many magickal properties associated with it was also a factor. Rowan was conceived on my 29th birthday and was born on June 19th, with multicolored hair, which has stayed with her to this day.

I have zero tolerance for those who express intolerance for people based on things like age, weight, gender, sexual orientation and so on. The only intolerance I have is one the one I embrace, towards willful morons, and yes, people who express intolerances towards people based on anything other then how that person actually acts, do fall into that category.

I love animals, in general, better then most people. In my life I have had; dogs, cats, rats, ferrets, budgies, rabbits, goats, horses, pigs, lizards, cows, a crow for a short while as it recovered from a broken wing, fish, chickens, emus, and possibly more that I'll add as they come to me. At the moment, we have a dog (Mia, a Great Pyr), 2 cats, Spike and Tack. In the next month or so, a Jersey cow, 12 laying hens, and 12 meat hens will be added to it, pigs, emus, turkeys, goats, and horses will be added over the years, possibly even some sheep (the non-human type).

What I’m doing with my life

Living life on our 40 acre homestead, gathering wood, spring cleanup, and getting ready for the gardens and projects of the summer.

This is where we will always be, hopefully as time goes on, with friends sharing it with us.

You can find a ton of pictures of us and our farm at;

If you want to know what we are doing here... check out our site about it.

Chickens will be here in a week, a cow shortly after, a couple of pigs after that. On this note... I am not a vegetarian, obviously. I am however a firm believer that animals should be treated with respect and given a good life, even when the eventual goal is to eat them. I have no issues with others choosing a different path, such as vegan-ism or the like, as long as they don't think they will change my mind about this... I won't try to force others to eat animals or their products and I won't accept someone trying to force me not to.

Oh yeah, and another thing I'm doing is reading people's profile and messaging them to tell them I think they are cool in one fashion or another even when I don't think we'd even get along normally. Words are all we have to communicate on here, using them well, impresses me. I will point out that in no way does that mean I care about grammar, spelling or punctuation very much, actually about as much as I consider physical traits of a person to be important... so... not at all.

I’m really good at

anything I have an interest in. Once I put my mind to something, I tend to pick it up extremely quickly. Sciences, maths, electronics, computers, sales (although the sales part may not be true any longer), drafting, hospitality management are some of things I have excelled at in my life.

Pissing people off by being very honest and literal. It really does seem to be a natural art form with me.

Being tactless... Its related to the honesty thing. I see no point in beating around the bush or playing games with honesty to make someone (including myself) feel better. Lying wastes time and we only have a short time in this form to explore and accomplish things we find significant.

The first things people usually notice about me

It used to be my hair for years. I hadn't cut it in over five years, and had nothing but trims for another couple of years before that. It had been down to my ass. In January, I shaved it, my moustache and goatee off. For the last time for the foreseeable future. I may trim my beard here and there, but in general, you can fully expect me to slowly disappear into my hair.

Besides that, likely my eyes, or the lingering odor of weed.

My favorite books, movies, music, and food

Books: I read everything and anything, except romance novels. Whether it's fiction or non-fiction, entertainment or informative, you will always find me in the middle of reading something. This could either be online or with an actual book (bundles of papers with a cover around them for those who are unfamiliar with that word... :) ). When it comes to reading a good sci-fi/fantasy novel though, I definitely prefer real books to computer monitors. By far, my favorite author is Robert Heinlein, and my favorite fiction book is Stranger in a Strange land. My favorite non-fiction is The Mother Earth News Handbook of Homemade Power.

Movies: Action, documentaries, and sci-fi, some fantasy.

Music: I love most music, but prefer classic rock for listening. I've been sorta playing the bongos for a bit, have some piano experience (not much), and have played bass guitar on occasion (although people generally have to say, "here, do this"... lol

Food: Mashed potatoes and creamed corn with pork chops from free range pigs raised on a family type farm. Overall though, I tend to avoid meat more then most except actual vegans, and when it comes to store bought, I would rather never even see it.

The six things I could never do without

my daughter's love and respect, weed, computers, nature, coffee, women

I spend a lot of time thinking about

my daughter, my plans, life, politics, people, the world, and pretty much everything else. A large portion goes towards Lost Acres (our homestead). Beyond that, my mind is constantly in a highly active state. I am generally in the process of doing multiple things at once.

There isn't a day that goes by that I am not studying or practicing something that I am interested in.

There isn't a single aspect of my life that is the result of just going with the flow of the status quo, I have put way too much thought into all aspects of who I am. My life is based on a series of ever more conscious decisions to be who I want to be. There are still many aspects I am working on of course.

One of my favorite things to think about is what other people are thinking about. I love to understand why people do what they do, and of course, I hate not understanding why people choose the way they do. The human mind is an amazing thing, capable of much more on every level then what 90% of the world uses it for. There are whole universes of thoughts and abilities that exist, if only people would tap into it.

On a typical Friday night I am

the same place I always am, at home, working either outside or on the house, watching movies, playing games, talking, having sex or on the computer.

Mostly it depends on what our schedules here are.

The most private thing I’m willing to admit here

This part always annoys me, or more accurately, some peoples answers do... lol

If you don't want to admit it here, then it isn't "The most private thing you are willing to admit here. Answering with a simple... "Nothing, it's private", just shows that you don't read or comprehend very well.

My problem lays in the other direction... I don't have anything that I can think of that would be considered private. So, instead, I'll just go with something that isn't mentioned elsewhere.... lol

... is that one of the main reasons we live in the middle of nowhere is to get as far away from the willful morons of the world as we can.

Oh and I play neopets to waste time... lol feel free to add me on there and say hi - Tumbleweed650

You should message me if

you are honest and like to talk. I love talking to people about almost anything.

If you are a bi woman who is interested in joining a closed triad with a m/f couple, I'm, 37, my life partner is 24. If you are between our ages (or close), and my profile appeals to you, drop me a line. Please note, we are open about our lifestyle and are not looking for someone as an occasional plaything, or a secret.

I am not interested in having cyber sex, either with or without web cams. I'm not interested in flashing you or asking you to flash me. If thats the best use for the net you can find, we likely won't get along well.

I reply to any email or contact I get that isn't rude or obnoxious.

I am always up for random chats with cool people... if you read the whole profile and you think you are a cool person, pop me a line or two. :)

Normally I try not to do this, but I couldn't resist in this case. I stole this from someone else's profile.

"all sex needs a friendship, but not all friendships need sex"

If you can't agree with this, please save us all a lot of time and don't bother me... :)

For everyone else who may read this, regardless of everything else, including gender (either preference or identity), status at the moment or what you are looking for.
If you are interested in helping to build a self sufficient weed friendly homestead with an eye to developing it into an intentional community that is based on balancing nature, people and technology you should definitely message me right away. You should be pot-friendly, honest, child-friendly (predators will not be tolerated), non-violent and open to actual work.

Oh, and be able to tolerate Northern Ontario winters ;)

Ahh, another addendum... If you are the type of person who thinks of life as something that is fair or unfair, please, let's not talk. If you don't recognize that life is a series of consequences to your own choices (and yes, doing nothing is also a choice) and actions, then we won't get along very well at all.
