I am earthy, optimistic, and punny.
My Self-Summary
Like the earth, I am slow to change. I wear browns, greens, and
reds, usually in dark colours. I am smart, but not always
quick-witted. I rarely accept just one reason for anything, there's
usually another. I don't accept what I see at face-value. My
emotions run deep, and never run away. I feel and think deeply. I
like to pass the time with
abstract/
ethical/
esoteric discussions. I find answers
inside myself, and all around me. I am often wrong, and when I am
right, it can be done better.
I am looking for an opposite. Someone who dreams big and runs
around. I want to be around someone whose emotions drive them, and
needs me to hold them. I want someone who experiments, so that I
can help. I want to share
dreams with them, make them happy. I want
to share
reading,
by listening to what she thinks certain characters are like, and
asking her what they would do in other situations. I want to share
movies, by laughing
at the jokes, and crying at the tragedies.
As a rule, I find the summaries to be too brief to explore
personalities. So I answer questions, and take interesting tests. I
look at your tests, and consider why you earned those results.
Knowing why you do things is a step towards knowing you. A step
that is closer than the face you wish to share with the world.
What I’m doing with my life
Working multiple jobs, and taking courses at my local Community
college.
I'm currently transitioning from the National Guard to the Army
Reserves. My new unit deals with Psychological Operations.
I’m really good at
Geek stuff.
My penchant for investigation, and understanding encompasses
artistic expressions, scientific knowledge, and emotional needs. So
you might summarize me as a cross between
Spock and
Data....
I name those two in particular, because they maintain a high degree
of activity, and "fitness". They are also good at social niceties
that they've learned, and have difficulty in situations that they
haven't.
My favorite exercises involve playing
tennis,
hiking, and running.
The first things people usually notice about me
I'm funny-looking? It's a joke I make after I've got people
laughing hard enough that they can't look at me without
smiling.
Aside from that, I suppose they notice my clothes. I once walked
into work with a Hawaiian shirt on, and my employer was surprised
at how subdued I was dressed. I like standing out a bit, more to
ask why other people don't try than to make a statement about
myself.
My favorite books, movies, music, and food
(A) Easier to list favorite authors:
Issac Asimov,
Terry
Pratchett, Piers Anthony,
Anne McCaffrey, Jean Auel,
Robert
Asprin,
Tamora Peirce,
Orson Scott Card, Spider
Robinson,
C.
S. Lewis
Suggest a book and I'll try reading it. I prefer escapism novels,
but have read a bit of everything.
(B)
Shawshank Redemption,
Patch Adams,
Batman Begins (
Dark Knight Trilogy),
Lord of the
Rings,
Pirates of the
Caribbean and
Ever After.
I like
Tim
Burton films, and
Robin William's acting.
(C)
Country
mostly. (I listen to anything as long as the lyrics are
intelligible, and rationally used). Kid from
Scat would be nice to hear again. I've also
started to collect
Renaissance Faire Music,
such as
Coyote
Run and
Pirates Royale.
(D)
Pizza's a
favorite, the family Vegetarian recipe or Pizza Hut; Meat Lovers or
Three Cheese. Stone Soup is a good recipe. Oh, and I cook. Thai,
German, Irish, Italian, Chinese... Most recipes I need to
reference, and I've made a few recipes myself.
The six things I could never do without
Six arbitrary things designed to tell you what I prioritize:
1
books
2
games
3 computers
4 nakama
5
Three
Stooges
6 humour
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Time, art, the whorls in my fingers, the growth of a tree,
religion, how to grok God, education, internet, morality, culture,
science, books,
philosophies, movies, heroes, archetypes...
Pick a topic; I'll listen, and contribute.
On a typical Friday night I am
Fridays I tend to stay at home.
On Saturday nights, I'm most often found in Savage, playing a
variety of games; Card Games, RPGs, or Board Games.
Magic: the
Gathering and
Dungeons and Dragons are
two common games.
Risk 2010, TransAmerica, Call of Cuthulu, and Munchkin are less
common, but still played.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit here
I can't spell, so I use
Firefox to correct my spelling.
On AOL Instant Messenger, I am CaoticSamaritan.
You should message me if

Debates on tests and observation of behavior patterns will
