My self-summary
First off, yes it will be awkward when you see me at my work and we will exchange awkward glances, especially if I message you something I think is clever and you don't respond. I like using run on sentences and fragmented sentences. Really I'm just seeing who's around town that I haven't had the opportunity to talk to in person. There's more about me but I don't see much sense in explaining everything.
What I’m doing with my life
Working at my favorite job and doing stuff for myself (travel, school, extracurriculars)
I’m really good at
Dancing (hip hop dancer for most of my life, don't bring it up because i'm sad I don't do it anymore). Movie knowledge. Video games. I'm quick with a joke (if you think I'm going to follow that up with a Billy Joel reference, kill yourself). I'm great at drinking in moderation and controlling my inhibitions. Though I drink quite a bit (it's my job to tell people what beer tastes like).
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Ready Player One is the best book. If you are interested in movies then we can talk later but as a overview I dig... foreign movies of all types, horror movies, thrillers, very old movies, and some shitty movies. I like some specific comedies but I find myself disliking most of the movies released. For shows of course MST3k, Flight of the Conchords, Dexter, fucking Sherlock is the best show ever, Murphys Law (no not Murphy Brown), Spaced, An Idiot Abroad, Weeds, Testees (only one season before cancellation unfortunately), Most everything HBO has to offer. I love cooking and all foods, but I happen to crave sushi a lot. Uhh, my music taste is all over the place. Because of my dancing I ended up gravitating toward older hip hop and soul. I dig Stevie Wonder a lot and for some reason Rod Stewart. I enjoy going to shows of all kinds and immersing myself in the crowd and moment, but keeping up with what's "cool" is a daunting task, so I just hop around different artists and genres for whatever makes me happy at the moment. Otherwise I listen to comedic stuff like The D, Flight of Conchords obviously, Reggie Watts is a new found infatuation, and Jon Lajoie is the man.
The six things I could never do without
Movies, intellectual stimulation, beer/scotch, food/water, air, and I guess affection.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
I argue with myself in my head alot. Not in a crazy way but as a way to see how someone else thinks. I believe it is a humbling practice and very enlightening. Otherwise, I connect everything someone is saying to me to a pop culture reference (this tends to get blurted out frequently).
On a typical Friday night I am
