My self-summary
I'm an engineer at heart. I like to build and do and learn. This means I am a robot beep boop.

I'm also a pretty die hard Dallas Stars fan. Hockey's my sport. I like the Stars so much, I bought a Valeri Nichushkin jersey. AND THERE ARE NO REGRETS.

I golf and play tennis (when I have a partner). I also enjoy going bowling.

I value many things; communication, motivation and honesty are amongst the most important.
What I’m doing with my life
Working full time for a large enterprise IT services corporation as a network engineer.

Part time student at UT Dallas.

Driving around in my rocketship with the windows down and the music up. It's a pretty nice rocketship.

Pining for the fjords.
I’m really good at
Something that rhymes with winning.

And sometimes trivia. I wish I knew more random garbage than I do now.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Currently reading Hot, Flat & Crowded by Thomas Friedman. Next would be Hocus Pocus by Kurt Vonnegut. So it goes, I suppose.

I like action movies with well done car chases and realistic plot lines. Comedy is hit or miss, but Mel Brooks films would be a good baseline for what I like. If it has a good car chase, it is a good enough movie to watch.

Archer, Harvey Birdman, Venture Bros, A Song of Ice and Fire ie Game of Thrones. Though I basically never watch TV by myself. And I really don't like Big Bang Theory.

Progressive and classic rock. And some other random stuff. My music collection is sort of all over the place, but it really isn't too indie or unique. Rush, Electric Light Orchestra, Iron Maiden, Metallica, deadmau5, Daft Punk, for example.

Food is good. I mean, that's really what it boils down to. I like to cook too, but it is hard to drum up enough motivation to cook for one. If you want to win my heart, know where to obtain excellent gyros.
The six things I could never do without
Sand, fish, dinosaurs, electromagnetic radiation, DARPA, and bears.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
If you're pondering what I'm pondering. And if you're pondering what I am pondering, that both scares and intrigues me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Sitting on my/a patio with a local beer (Community & Lakewood representin'). Or watching YOUR DALLAS STARS in various capacities.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I've had this on repeat for a bit:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wga5A6R9BJg

Mostly for the good animation and catchy beat.

And by good animation I mean hilarious animation.
I’m looking for
  • Girls who like guys
  • Ages 24–28
  • Near me
  • Who are single
  • For new friends, long-term dating
You should message me if
... if you think I am the sort of guy you're looking for.

And you've determined I am not actually a robot. I can pass a Turing test. But that's about it.

Or if you want to watch Time Bandits.
