My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
Just one more who is searching for a world that ought to be.

I'm an engineer at heart. I like to build and learn.

I am a big hockey fan. Not too into football, except to laugh at the Cowboys misery.

I golf and play tennis (when I have a partner). I also enjoy going bowling.

I value many things; communication, motivation and honesty are amongst the most important.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
Working full time for a large enterprise IT services corporation as a network engineer.

Part time student at UT Dallas.

Driving around in my rocketship with the windows down and the music up. It's a pretty nice rocketship.

Pining for the fjords.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Something that rhymes with winning.

And sometimes trivia. I wish I knew more random garbage than I do now.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

I just finished reading Hot, Flat and Crowded by Thomas Friedman. And started Freakonomics since there isn't much else to do when you're trapped at O'Hare for seven hours.

Time Bandits. Ronin. Some filmier stuff. Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy. A Dangerous Method. The list goes on but I honestly have not seen some of the great movies of my time.

Archer, Harvey Birdman, Venture Bros, A Song of Ice and Fire ie Game of Thrones. Though I basically never watch TV by myself.

Progressive and classic rock. And some other random stuff. My music collection is sort of all over the place, but it really isn't too indie or unique. Rush, Electric Light Orchestra, Iron Maiden, Metallica, deadmau5, Daft Punk, for example. Send excellent chiptunes.

Food is good. I mean, that's really what it boils down to. I like to cook, so that means I do not subsist on Doritos, Mountain Dew and Hot Pockets. If you want to win my heart, know where to obtain excellent gyros.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Sand, fish, dinosaurs, electromagnetic radiation, DARPA, and bears.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
If you're pondering what I'm pondering. And if you're pondering what I am pondering, that both scares and intrigues me.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Absolutely nothing. Nope, nothing.

Making pizza. At home. Because I can do that.
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I like disco music?

... you want to?

Chase what you want to chase.

Or if you want to come do bar trivia. Because I do that sometimes.

Oooor if you want to share a great TED talk with me. I could always do with more of those.
