My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'm just like you in that I'm a combination of unique and ever changing parts that makes me a whole person. I'm a little bit of everything I've ever experienced...
I am a kid at heart. I don't have time to worry about what I'm gonna do when I grow up. It hasn't happened yet and it probably never will.
I'm a goofball, an odd duck. I march to my to the beat of my own drummer, or some days my own marching band!
I'm fiercely independent, but I liked to be offered help sometimes too. I love to cook but I hate to clean up. I love the feeling of total freedom that I experience when riding a motorcycle, sailing, or traveling to unknown places. It's ike the world is my oyster.
I Love all living things. I feel that I have a responsibility to stand up for the less fortunate and soft spoken. In short, I am a warrior.

I can come off as a real jerk if you don't know me or if I'm having a bad day. Most people won't get past my hard exterior shell. Fuck them. I can't walk around with my heart on my sleeve. Believe me I've tried. If you can take me as a whole I'm worth it.

This site is too into the dating aspect and romance... Let's just hang out and talk. Maybe we will click and maybe we won't. You're not gonna find out by comparing our test results.
If you do the facebooks check out my page. ( My page is open so go look if you want) That tends to be way more current this site anyway.

I am sarcastic, a fool, and a quick learner!
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
My Passions are sailing, cooking, and creating with my hands. I used to make a living as a chef. But that got old. I managed property for a few years and found that I liked learning how to fix and improve the houses. These days s8220 I do a lot of things to earn money... Building and remodeling houses, 3-D design, project management...I've even been paid to sail!
I really like doing physical work and working hands on, but I loose interest unless I challenge my mind and creative side as well. That's one of the things I like about remodeling. Taking a project from the concept to the complete final outcome. I get a real sense of satisfaction looking at a structure that only existed on paper just a few weeks or months before.

2013: I've been doing more and more rock climbing. I bought an extra harness and a ton of other gear so I'm not dependent on the gym or my friends with rope and gear to go climbing. I like to get out in the mountains when I can but I also hit the free wall at Sandpoint park quite often. I really enjoy teaching people the basics of climbing and introducing my friends to the sport! Hit me up if you climb or just have an interest.

2014: I've been traveling most of the last year. Started in India, went to the Philippines after the typhoon to help rebuild, then on to Thailand where I have spent most of the last 6 months with side trips to Cambodia, Myanmar, and Malaysia. While here in Thailand, I have been getting more into diving and I am now becoming a certified Divemaster! This means I can continue to travel and work anywhere there are popular dive sites.
I got back to Seattle mid June and now I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones!
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Sailing, creating and building things, cooking, going fast!... as in: horses, motorcycles, bikes, or anything else adrenaline educing...
I like rock climbing and am always looking for belay partners... Now I will also be looking for any excuse to go diving. Although the cold waters of Puget Sound won't quite be the same as diving in Thailand. I plan to get my drysuit certification and see what's down there after all those years of sailing these waters.
I'm also good at listening, and I like to talk and tell stories. I'm good at seeing the heart of the matter and then getting to it.
I'm really good at making an ass out of myself if it will make other people laugh!!! (Proven over and over again)

What I'm NOT good at is *spelling correctly*...Especially when it comes to texting and IMing, so PLEASE don't bust my balls about it! Anyways, neither was Einstein or many other brilliant people so at least I am in good company!
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
Maybe it's my blue eyes or my smile
Or...
My smart ass attitude.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food
Help your potential matches find common interests.
Books: Be here now, by Ram Dass, Way of the Peaceful Warrior, Geek Love, Poisonwood bible. The ethical slut. Tao Te Ching. I hate to admit it but I love the "Idiots Guides" series.. They are like clifs notes for life! I also have a TON of cook books and I'm addicted to those glossy magazines with beautiful pics of food or sailboats!
Movies: I tend to like comedies, or really epics like Pandora. One of my all time favorites is Easy Rider.
Music:? This is a hard one. I love ALL types of music. Unlike most people who say this I really do! How do I create a list of favorites?!? Ok here are just a few. Ani DiFranco, Tom Waits, portishead, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Alan Jackson, Imogen Heap, Brad Paisley, Jhonny Cash, Del McCoury, Neko Case, Norah Jones, Gogol Bordello, System of a Down, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, 50 Cent, Eminem, Snoop, Beastie Boys, TchKung!, Morphine, Dead Can Dance and that's just off the top of my head.

AND don't even get me started talking about food! Unless you're a foodie, and you're prepared to listen for over an hour. Even though I'm a vegetarian I do eat some salmon from time to time. You might also be surprised at how well I can cook meat for others without even needing to taste it. That comes from years of doing it for a living, and it doesn't bother me one bit if others choose to eat meat... I just choose not to.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
Adventure!
Water: It's good to reflect upon, play in, and travel across. Anywhere I have ever lived had at least some form of oceans, lakes, or rivers.
Good food, preferably food that's good for you!
Flirting, physical contact, and Passion (See also: LOVE)
Social interaction (including people watching)
Humor, in all it's wonderful ways and forms (If we can't laugh, we'll just cry)
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
Sailing, traveling, living the good life, volunteering, helping others in general, cute girls that make me blush, dinner parties, relationships, how my life will look in retrospect when it's all over.

I think about people and what makes them work...

Sometimes I space out and start thinking about things I could invent, or the way something works... I have a touch of the ADHD so my mind tends to wander all over the place. But I get some of the best ideas that way!
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
I am down for any of the following activities and who knows whatever else: Going out for Mexican food, watching a movie, yoga (I need to do more of this), sailing by starlight, canoeing/kayaking, skating, hiking up a hill to watch a meteor shower, sitting by a fire on a beach or by a fireplace while talking about life and the universe or just sharing the moment with someone I connect with, horseback riding, camping, even driving out to the mountains and sleeping next to stream or lake, cooking a fabulous dinner for someone, dancing the night away, or just doing nothing at all...
The most private thing I’m willing to admit
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
I lie about my birthday! Every time...
I'm really 325! (See what I mean?)

Or maybe you just think we would be good friends... It doesn't always have to be about dating, falling in love, or hooking up people!

*UPDATE
I've heard from some of my female friends that they get more messages on OKC than they can reply to, so I've kinda stopped looking at my potential matches and messaging people randomly. But if you visit my profile a few times might say hello. If you are so brave as to send me a message I will most likely reply. I can be reluctant at times when it comes to starting a conversation with someone on the internet. Once started however, I am anything but shy!
