Lately I have been listening a lot to some of my older favorites. I also listen to a lot of podcasts like Radiolab and This American Life.

Food: Cooking is one of my passions. I love going out for a nice meal, and then replicating it at home. I thrive on being the host- but, by no means in the domestic woman kind of way. I love to cook with and for my family and friends. I have a sushi making and teaching dinner party at least every other month. I frequent many farmer's markets. This year I expanded on growing my own garden. There is nothing like having any herb available. It was one of the most rewarding things that I have ever done. I can catch, clean and cook my own fish. I have cultivated a healthy hobby of canning and preserving. I must brag and say that I have even won a blue ribbon for my pickles at the state fair!
