My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
I'd consider myself a little shy at first and rather laid back. I'm not great at listing out fine details of myself, but I do consider myself rather open. If you've got any questions for me, ask away.

I'm currently living in East Lansing, but I travel to the Detroit area once a week or more for work. I have an opportunity to work full time in Detroit that I keep thinking about, but I haven't made that leap yet.

Side note, if more than half your profile pictures are you at a bar, or getting ready to go to the bar, then don't bother. I'm looking for someone with a little more substance.
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
I'm a pretty straight forward 9-5 guy. I love my job and couldn't think of a better work environment.

Summer weekends I seem to migrate towards the West side of the state. I'm a big fan of the water and I can usually be found around a lake or in a stream somewhere.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Everything. But that is debatable.

I do enjoy trying new hobbies and I'm always looking for things to do around this town.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
It's been noted that I'm a bit sarcastic (see answers above), so heads up on that. Otherwise I'm not sure what peoples first impression of me is. Maybe you should meet me in person just so I can find out what your first impression is.
Favorite books, movies, shows, music, and food

Books: I did just get done reading some Carl Sagan books which I would highly recommend. Really anything I can learn something from I'll take the time to read.

Movies: I've almost always have whatever movie I can find on TV going on in the background. I'm not too picky when it comes to them. Warning: I will flinch and jump at the corniest most obvious scenes in horror movies.

TV: Like movies, it's usually a background noise I have on. I haven't gotten into a show in a long time.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My smartphone
Some peace and quiet every now and then
A cold can of Coca-Cola Classic (The breakfast of champions)
My truck to get me around
A good job
Some long term goals
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
What tomorrow brings.
