My self-summary
Write a little about yourself. Just a paragraph will do.
People would probably describe me as slightly quirky and fairly (!) opinionated, with an independent streak, but I am genuinely open-minded and would love to meet someone who can introduce me to new experiences and vice versa.

Arts and culture are the foundations of what I enjoy doing in my spare time away from work and study. I enjoy the theatre and musicals, watching films, concerts/gigs, visiting Museums & Exhibitions, and travel abroad.

I've also been known to dabble in Politics, although nothing too intense! I am most definitely a Liberal Leftie and proud. I enjoy a good heated discussion among like-minded, or even non-like minded friends.

I'm equally happy having a lazy day lounging around on the sofa or being in the great outdoors as I enjoy walking. Nothing can beat a spontaneous adventure in my books.

Favourite things:
> Travelling
> City Exploration
> Rome & Krakow
> WOMAD Festival
> Laughing (it's good for the soul & burns calories!)
> Being by the sea
> Countryside walks
> Places with a view
> Visiting the capital
What I’m doing with my life
Don’t overthink this one; tell us what you’re doing day-to-day.
About to embark on a new adventure, having just graduated earlier in 2013. Looking forward to the future and all that it hopefully has to offer, including the search for that special someone to share it with.

I'm about to return to my old passion of Youth Work, alongside working on a more personal goal of mine. My background is in volunteering/paid work in the voluntary Youth Sector and my main motivation in life is seeing other people learn and achieve.
I’m really good at
Go on, brag a little (or a lot). We won’t judge.
Talking for England (I'm also reasonably good at listening). Thinking. Being pro-active!
What I wish I could say 'I'm really good at' would be cooking and singing. I frequently attempt both, but alas to no avail.
The first things people usually notice about me
I’m an empty essay… fill me out!
My eyes. They're really really blue!

Books...Nineteen Eighty-Four; The Picture of Dorian Gray; Alice's Adventures in Wonderland; His Dark Materials; The New Cold War; The Kite Runner; A Thousand Splendid Suns; Notes from a Small Island

Films...Life of Brian; The Shawshank Redemption; The Prestige; To Kill a Mocking Bird; American Beauty; The Usual Suspects; Toy Story

TV...Sherlock; Luther; Frasier; Miranda; Mock The Week; Have I Got News For You

Shows...Avenue Q; Les Mis; Spamalot; Hairspray; Sweeney Todd; The 39 Steps; Blood Brothers

Music...I certainly can't limit it to any one particular genre. I've been known to listen to anything from Brahms to French cover bands to Robbie Williams. If I like it - be it mainstream or not - then I'll listen.

Food...anything Italian - so unoriginal, I know! But also can't beat a good roast dinner, as long as it includes a Yorkshire pud.
The six things I could never do without
Think outside the box. Sometimes the little things can say a lot.
My family. My friends. My cats. Good conversations. Coffee. Oxygen?.
I spend a lot of time thinking about
Global warming, lunch, or your next vacation… it’s all fair game.
How I can make a difference to people's lives (sounds corny, I know, but true...)
On a lighter note...where to travel to and what to try next.

I also often contemplate where people are going, what they're doing with their lives, and why on earth they're in the same place as me at the same time? This especially occurs on the Tube - one of those Sliding Doors kind of moments, I guess.
On a typical Friday night I am
Netflix and takeout, or getting your party on — how do you let loose?
Most likely to be with family or friends - either at home watching Friday night TV or relaxing with some Friday night drinks!
