Originally from Texas... been in NYC 10 years now. Love every minute of it. Definitely very preppy guy but have a flair for the ultra modern... I'd like to call it here and now - Classically Modern. Obsessed with art, architecture and history. Love to play board games and study maps, sing and dance around the city, travel travel travel, hike and bike, and generally laugh all the time.

MUSIC - Big classical music fan (mostly classical piano and opera). Love musical theatre too. As a SPIN instructor I have to play a lot of Top 40 - so I am beginning to find an appreciation for it.

FOOD - Love food - all kinds. Especially, Mexican and Italian. But definitely on the foodie side. Love to try new places!

MOVIES - really into 1970s airplane disaster movies. love Empire of the Sun and 2001: A Space Odyssey. My favorite movie last year was Melancholia. But I love a good slapstick Drop Dead Gorgeous too!

BOOKS - My book tastes are all over the map - from Maurice to Harry Potter and Travel Books to Romance novels. I'm a voracious reader and will pretty much read it all.

Maps. I memorize them, read them, study them. I'm fascinated with maps. Even floor plans are like little maps to me of a different microcosm.
